Shikamaru is a good match-up for hidan because hidan has to stay on the circle which shouldve been easy for shikamaru to catch him

imagine if Hidan was an intelligent foe and every time he gets stabbed he acts dead and when the opponent lowers their guards he quickly slices them getting access to their bloods and ending the fight right away. Or better yet, running while lowkey licking their blood so when they try to catch and attack him lethally, they die instead... Such a waste of a jutsu potential.
