Hi, The maximum RAM this can take is actually 16 GB (PC3-10600) & the maximum CPU that is still supported is an Intel i7 2670QM. 😉😎😆 I've read on forums that maybe an i7 2860QM/2960XM too could fit but it is unverified. 😑 Best Regards,

Technically all CPUs are changeable. Just that if it’s soldered it’s more difficult. By the looks of it, I’d say it’s socketed, so good news.

Yes. The maximum supported is an Intel i7-2670QM. RAM 16 GB 1333 MHz.
