Have one scheduled for delivery tomorrow before NOON, the 'I have no idea what this is' is the #1 feature I ordered this display for PbP and PIP splits the screen from multiple sources in my case work and personal laptops.

I don't think this model supports any of the PiP or PbP cuz I have one and I cant figured out how to activate it. Asus website info also does not list this model as one of those that support these functions.

Not that perticular CPU, but you need a machine to output display.

Hello joseph can i ask what preset should i select if im doing adobe lightroom edit photos? Is it standard, srgb or rec.709? If I select rec.709 or srgb it’s kinda dim. Please help. By the way nice review!

I suppose it depends on which medium you end up showing the photos on. Both are screen standards and would not really be really close to what you will have on the prints for example. Things may appear a bit dim as those modes aren't meant to over-process the the colors.

Hi Joseph: Based on your video, I just purchased the 24" inch monitor. It is simply awesome! I love it. I would like to ask you some questions: It looks like my computer can't handle the monitor very well. At max resolution of 1920 x 1200 I noticed that web pages ran quite slowly. I couldn't even open images on Twitter! I lowered the resolution to 1920 x 1080. I am aware that my PC is "old". It has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz processor, 16GB RAM, Win 11 64-bit, Dell 042P49 motherboard. Until I can get a better PC, which it seems to be running fine, I wonder what would be the best resolution setup. Should I also adjust the refresh rate? Right now is at 59.95 Hz (go figure). What is an "interlaced" refresh rate? Should I use the VGA port in the meantime? I know it won't be the same, but I need my PC to work as "normal" as possible. Also, this monitor has a USB-B port. What in the world is that for? Maybe you could do a video explaining what all these ports are for. It would be quite beneficial for people like me. Thanks for the help! Regards. 🤗

Hi! Your machine is rather old, (10 years old). Whilst 1920x1200 resolution of webpage isn't something difficult to run, I suppose it may just be struggling to keep up with light tasks in general. Lowing resolution and the refresh rate may help the performance. But, lowing refresh rate also makes the perceived speed of your machine much slower. (you just have to pick your poison) Interlaced is rather technical and is not something that I fully understand either 🤣 Also, I don't think there would be significant improvement between 1920x1200 vs. 1920x1080. VGA or HDMI, I don't think it is going to have any performance. HDMI will be better overall since it is digital and can also transmit audio. The USB-B port is for you to connect to your computer and the monitor. All the USB ports on the monitor now will work as the USB hub for your computer.

What do you think about this one compared to PA279CV witch has higher resolution but lower hz?

Between 75hz and 60hz, I don't think you will notice the difference. I feel packing 4k into 27 inch is a bit wasteful though.

@Mateusz Graczyk I agree with the refresh rate. I will take 75hz over 60hz any day. But it has been somewhat challenging to find a good monitor with 144hz, and a reasonable price.

The stand looks different, and I don't think that one supports USB-C PD and daisy chaining.

May I know how much it costs for PC and Monitor, I'm still considering choosing between a setup like yours or a Mac mini with proart display. At least I want to spend less money with equivalent quality, thank you

Sorry, I can't tell you how much it is for the monitor as it was loaned by Asus at the time. For the PC, the price will vary quite a bit since you are building it yourself.

@@tapasdatta6222 No, i didn't, i bought the Aoc CQ27G2 and it works fine for me. I use it for ps5, work, movies, etc and its very good. For programming its excellent too. I recommend it (the aoc).

It was quite crisp. That usually just depends on its resolution and size.

@@abhishekranna5430 sounds like the MBP is setting it's resolution incorrectly. Make sure not to 'mirror' the display and extend.

Does this or have you done any firmware updates on it? If so, is it pretty easy to do. Just read somewhere in a review that they had issues with a firmware update. So I didn’t click purchase. 😬

The Acer concept D is good for any designer that has to work in color calibrations. I do textile and 3D arts. Both monitors are superior for art.

For the specs that you require, I'm not aware of the model that's a lot cheaper. PA278CV definitely fits all the bill.

Define lag. Because all screens have 'delays'. This is not the fastest monitor, but it wasn't really slow either.
