when is this model supposed to go on sale? was supposed during 2023 which is almost over, online you can only find the non 3d version. AND no uffocial asus updates about that.. unbelievable

I just buy these because they're the only laptops that don't look like gamer vomit and still have powerful GPUs in them. I'm not 14 anymore, I wish laptop manufacturers would cater more to people who want to be understated and just have a clean and professional looking computer that can also kick ass in gaming and other intensive tasks.

rofl but you won't get the 3D one...3400! That's the price of the apple headset...although...it still does have more powerful GPU and it's a full PC.

@@RatusMax 3d is worthless, there is basically no content for it at all. Even if the tech is good it’s pointless if nobody supports it

@@nathanacreman632with Vorpx and Reshade you can retrofit a lot of existing stuff to work in 3D (the Dolphin emulator also has 3D functionality built in), however I have to admit Asus’s official list of compatibility is quite limited. Asus themselves may have foreseen their limited scope as these 3D OLED laptops missed their release window and were given no mention at this year’s CES.

This 3D version of the studiobook is not even displayed or listed on ASUS's own website...and not to be found for sale online... Did they stop this product already ?

You you see the lenticular lens film over the OLED display? Is there any degradation of image quality in regular 2D mode?

So in case of movies they have to be in 3D format first in order to have that effect ? Or can it make 3D effect from standard movie as well ?

Supposedly these things are going to come with the option to switch between standard 2d viewing and 3d viewing of video media.If they ever release the technology, yeah you can watch any movie or video in 3d. Their cameras are also supposed to render video calls using the same 3d technology as well. Anyone with a similar device will be able to see the other person in 3d. Their phones are supposed to have the capability to record in 3d as well. Seeing is believing right?

I have one Pro Art studio book but i dont know how to get in this 3d mode. Wich aplication is that with the bee and etc?

the 3d mode is a specific model of tha notebook which gives you glass free stereoscopic view using 2 additional cams which follow your eyes direction. But this model never went on sale and no official info about it. And noone knows anything about that.

No, but the touchpad is huge, 16:9, and it works with a stylus, really well. But no, no touchscreen.

When will this be available in the UK? That’s why I hate windows systems - terrible communication. On Apple there is a clear release date. Might just stick with Apple

I HATE SPIDERS!!! but it was the only new video on the Asus proART 16” 13th gen Intel labtop… Had to go there.. wanted an honest talk about how load it sounds when it fires op in premiere Pro video editing 4 and 8K

@7:00 . I am all for 3D computers. I game. This one looks like its just for creators, and I am not one of those so I will wait for the consumer version. This creator one shows a promising future.

Leave theoretical probabilities to Michio Kaku. Give me the real deal. All this ai and we're barely going to start using third dimensional concepts for everyday computing? Wow. Where do they even have a production line for these laptops? In their minds? Do they have elves and reindeer working with them too.? Wtf?

@@oldgitgamingandtec 3D screen is the feature no professional user asked for. They sacrificed the 4K panel for 3D and it got downgraded to 3.2K. Instead of improving on the 4K OLED panel and fine tuning its color accuracy to 100% Adobe RGB and less than 1 Delta E, they chose to go for a gimmick…Why? I have no idea. Maybe 3D film/game developers would benefit from that feature 🤷‍♂️. But 3D for an architect or industrial designer, I think taking a design and rotating it around is the standard practice. Perhaps introducing a 360° version of the ProArt StudioBook with a serious WACOM supported pen would have been the better path to take. A 360° would be a "Shut up and take my money!" kind of workstation for me.

Answer is really simple, at 16” screen you really can’t take advantage of a 4K resolution, even on double that screen size 4K is overkill. By reducing the number of pixels by almost 20% we should see battery life improvement. On top of the new 4070 nvidia card having a power reduction focus, this version of the studiobook should have a significant battery life improvement than the previous generation.
