Here from the distant future of October 2021! I was just able to upgrade the RAM to 12GB (onboard 4GB+8GB module) in my wife's laptop. MUCH FASTER. She can even play Genshin Impact on it now! Thank you VERY much for this instructional video =)

Would you mind telling me which RAM stick you bought? I want to upgrade my laptop's ram as well but I don't want to buy incompatible RAM.

Hello, a question, I have the same model as the video but I don't know if you can add RAM in addition to what it already has, what you opened at the end is where you have to put the RAM right, and there is nothing there unless you You place it, after placing it, you had to do a configuration or something like that and could you please tell me where you bought the RAM and what model or brand it was. I have this same model of laptop and it doesn't turn on, nor does it turn on the LED light when connected, as if it were dead, hasn't that happened to you?

Ciao, ho anch’io lo stesso modello di computer ed ho un problema con la “data e l’ora”. Ho pensato che fosse la CMOS battery, ma una volta aperto il case non sono riuscito a trovarla. È possibile che questa tipologia di computer non abbia la cmos battery? Come potrei risolvere il problema. Grazie in anticipo.

same, seems there is no cmos, mine is stuck in deepsleep state, cant do anything

There is no bios battery. The main battery is holding the cmos settings
