Are you able to install 2 SSD or just the one? I want to upgrade the SSD to 1tb and remove the 512gb but if I can use the 512gb for extra space that could be useful

It only has 1 slot of M.2. But you can use that 521GB SSD as an external SSD.

The RAM card is not upgradable, it blended on the board, right? I'm really disappointed. I have an 8Gb and would like to upgrade it to 16G.

I have this one with i7 16gb ram and that shitty MX nvidia, can i upgrade gpu? Even League of legends low details is running worse than on my 2014 asus with i3 and nvidia geforce 2gb and 6gb ram lol

@@matusgerbiark3622 you probably can't upgrade the gpu, the 15 inch versions of these have a beefier gpu than the mx gpu's of the 14 inch ://

Most likely yes but chances are the bus that in runs on will be a bottle neck so it won't really help.

What a piece of crap laptop. Basically nothing is upgradable. My old Dell Latitude laptops, I'd keep them running for 10 years by upgrading the RAM, the processor, install a faster WiFi card, faster SSD, higher capacity battery, backlit keyboard, etc. Everything was upgradable and easy to replace back then. These days everybody wants "thin" and "light", but don't realize what they're giving up. Sure don't make 'em like they used to! 😭

Next time buy a laptop with latest Thunderbolt support if you want to run external GPU. I also wish I'd thought of that before buying my last laptop.

Guys, haters.. I've has this laptop for 5+ years and it has been great for what it's designed for! It's not a gaming laptop even though it has a dedicated gpu. I can handle a bit more gpu intensive stuff than others but not high end games etc. If you do business things, travel a lot or want something light and capable work horse then this is the best imho. I did buy the 16GB version cause, obviously for heavy users 8GB is not enough. You should know this...

The cpu, gpu, and ram and soldered to the board. You can't upgrade the cpu or ram. I highly recommend getting the 16gb intel i7 version.

That's interesting. I have a Zenbook 14 with the MX250 GPU and I can play LoL and even Dota 2 on high setting. I'm currently dumping hours into a modded Skyrim running at 60fps..

@@dubalapilan595 Make sure that you're using the nvidia High performance graphics processor when running dota and not the Integrated graphics. You can find it by right clicking on your desktop and clicking Nvidia Control Panel. Change the preferred graphics processor to High Performance Graphics Processor.

@@dubalapilan595 My Zenbook 14 UX434 can't because it doesnt have thunderbolt 3. But the latest Zenbook 14 model can as it has thunderbolt 4 support from what I read.

I gave you a thumbs down, because you failed to show all the pry points. You make it look like the cover just pops right off and it doesn't. I just saw the full proper removal of the cover in another video.
