I bought the smaller 14 inch model of this and it's been absolutely perfect. Loving the extra screen real estate, and the keyboard didn't really take any time for me to adjust to.

Great review/overview as usual. My 2020 Aorus 15G still has a lot of life left in her, but I was looking at both of these (10th Gen Intel) prior to purchase.

Good stuff! I had the zen duo 5900hx/3070 and I just couldn't get used to it. The top panel is too small especially as you have to have distance. KB placement made it hard to use it on my lap (my wrists start hurting). I tried SO HARD to love it but it's just not for me. I might consider it again if they made a 17" model. The concept is really good. I have my eye on the Asus S17 but the price is too darn high as of now.

We sell these at work and it can sometimes be hard to explain to customer's 'what' they would use the second screen for, you've really shared some great insight here as to how well you can manipulate that second screen. Never even thought of it as a student device so that's also very interesting as we do also get a lot of students coming in to buy laptops. Thanks for the showcase!

Hi Quick Question.. Im a senior After Effects user.. Im wondering which of these 2 the Duo 14 and 15 would be better for me, since the 14 i9 processor is a 12 gen 14 core vs the 15 being an 11th gen 8core i9. but then the Duo 15 can have the 30 70 vs the 14 capping out on the 3050Ti. so if both have 32GB ram which of teh 2 would give me a smoother experience in After Effects, the more cores but lower GPU (DUO 14) or slightly less cores and more GPU (DUO 15) thanks!

Thank you for the great review! I wonder if it's possible to disable touch input, while using the stylus? I need to rest my palm against the screen while I draw details - especially if I do it for a long time...

I know it does disable touch input while drawing, I can't say for sure if you can manually enable/disable it though!

Hello, I enjoyed your review and I have some question or rather I’d appreciate if you could help me… I’ve been looking for a Remote-workforce laptop for traveling. As at my office I’m used to use Dual-Monitor, so when I saw the ASUS ZenBook Duo series, I got excited. I researched a lot and read often about their not-so-ergonomic downshifted keyboard setting… But as I’m a woman and have a kind of small hands, I think I’d be okay… Unfortunately, I could not find actual machine to check out at any stores around… And as I care about the performance although I’m not a gamer nor video editor/creator, I like Office Suite apps run smoothly and have a tendency to have quite a bit of tabs open (I know it’s a bad habit…) when I’m browsing on Google Chrome. So, I’m debating whether I should get ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 UX482 or ZenBook Pro Duo 15 UX582? Which one do you recommend?

It depends, do you have the normal one or the pro one. I think the number keypad is only on the pro model.

Good gimmick but not sure I would want to downgrade my trackpad and keyboard experience for that extra display? I am generally a focused worker, so one app open at a time and run through my workload systematically one job at a time, the distraction of all that going on would be the antithesis of productivity for me! A very easy miss for me and I am wondering how long ASUS will keep this form factor!

Why didn't you talk about the pink dots that can be seen all over the oled screen. Literally thousands upon thousands of dots overlayed on the screen that makes every solid color look dirty and as if there is a textured. There is no white on the laptop, it's grey because the dots. All icons have dots in them. It's the worse oled screen I've ever seen and owned. Wish reviewers would have spoken up and explained this defect with the touch screen overlay. I've seen 5 of these machines so it's not just mine that have it. It's such a shame. Wish we were warned
