No need to fear burn in on OLED - you can be assured it will happen - it is a feature not a bug of the tech - only variance is how soon it will become noticeable (and then will never become unseen)

No matter what I just got this monitor and comparing it to my hp 60hz monitor it's 1000x better for my pc atleast I still use the 60hz to have my ps5 up at the same time but the picture quality on this monitor blows my hp out the water but that's understandable considering the hp monitor wasn't really meant for gaming tho it still got the job done

Now it’s actually gonna happen tcl is making a 1k hz 4K monitor we are almost able to hit 900 fps on siege with the 4090 i gaurantee the 5090 will have like 1.6k fps on siege or something when it comes out I don’t know about other games but 1k frames is so nasty I think Fortnite on the 5090 will be like 700 fps or something

If you want to control regular lights, cannot recommend the shelly (in particular the shelly plus 1pm) enough. they sit behind any regular light switch allowing them to be smartified without buying a specific 'smart switch' that tend to look a bit uglier

I don't have a Deck but I do have a phone with a 120Hz screen, so I tried out Minecraft with a 40fps cap on it and it's exactly as you describe in the video. The perceived smoothness and responsiveness is a gigantic improvement over 30fps. It's definitely not quite as good as 60fps but it's close enough that I can happily play at 40fps without feeling the need increase the cap (even though I could at any time). It even keeps my phone running cooler and for longer than at 60fps.

Google maps is terrible now. They will avoid highways even if you don't have it toggled on. It takes me down the back roads where the streets are tiny and dangerous because they have to shoulder and ditches. Basically if you aren't perfectly in the line you are either gonna slip the car in the other lane or go off the road.

In 2021 I purchased what I thought to be a Logitech G203 mouse from Amazon, only to discover later that it was, in fact, a counterfeit product. Despite this I managed to utilize the mouse for basic functionality by relying on the default Windows mouse driver. For a mouse positioned in the budget category, the extent of effort put into creating a counterfeit version appears to be curiously disproportionate.

I run a Rodecaster Pro II with Procaster XLRs for the majority of what I do, but recently picked up a pair of XDM-100s to use with my laptop so I can have a more compact podcast kit. Initially I experienced the same issues most suffer - hugely unreliable Unify connections and UI gremlins, but I thought I'd try a USB-C to USB-C expander hub, and would you believe it, a more reliable connection. The biggest bonus is, I picked up the XDMs for £88 each brand new from Gear4Music - representing really good value. I'm unlikely to use these a lot as my Rodecaster setup is far superior, but for quick run and gun needs, this is a good solution. The part I'm most impressed with is, the plug & record compatibility with my phone. The untreated audio quality straight into my phones audio recorder is very impressive. Overall, not a bad solution from Rode, but not their best work. A good overview. Thanks for the detailed comparison 👍🏻

People who install atlas and this new shady version of ghostspectre are just flat out ordinary people with no advanced computer knowledge or even enough patience to research how PowerShell works to manually remove background apps. You just have to install windows 11 pro and turn everything off and uninstall everything through PowerShell and go through all your settings. You can also disable services yourself and put them on manual if you want to lower your processes and ram usage. I have windows 11 pro running at 90 processes 0-1% cpu usage and 8% usage on 32 gigs of ram. I manually did it all myself and spent the time to debloat it myself and read about what's safe and not safe. Bottom-line is stop being lazy people do it yourself if you want to be safe stop looking for the easy way out in this world hard work pays off....
