Wow what a compliment! Thank you for the sub and sorry for the late reply. I am just getting back into the riding season and was logged into my other account non bike related for the winter. Again thanks for the great compliment and I will be making some more videos soon!

When I am riding by bike along the Forth and Clyde Canal in central Scotland I make it a habit to use my bell to give a little warning to people walking in front of me so that I do not frighten them when whizzing passed, almost silently. Many walkers say 'thank you' and I too, makes cycling more enjoyable. I also slow down when passing as some people get a shock at the sound of my bell and jump in front of me, again adds to the fun.

Haha great comment and you’re a soy right there is a balancing act between quietly passing somebody or possibly startling people with the bells. I’ve had mixed reactions from both. The horn on my talaria xxx might as well be a train horn lol it’s soo loud.

Ay. Did you ever get a chance to bleed the brakes and fix the light on the front? I've been wanting this Ebike!

I just got mine & assembled it! I'm absolutely LOVING it so far. Thank you again for linking the bike mirrors, I just ordered them. You're very right about the front headlight. Mine is also rattling alot & I'm not sure how to go about tightening it. @@sferides505

Cool Content, Just got my A1 last week. Couple questions for ya, can you use your throttle in all power modes? throttle on my A1 only works in power modes 2 and 4. Also it's not progressively smooth acceleration, barely turn it and it sends all power to the motor. Is your A1 like that?
@sferides505
@sferides505 9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the compliment! Yes my A1 is like that as well. I tend to stay in class 2 so I can use the throttle while conserving some battery. I feel like I have better acceleration control with the throttle as opposed to pedaling. There is a little throttle play before it engages and starts moving so that took some getting used to.

Glad I asked you, here I thought my bike was broken. I have a cheap Freego bike with 5 speeds of assist and the throttle works through all speeds, and its super smooth and gradual like a motorcycle throttle. This Async is a total different animal. Thanks!@@sferides505

I have had my A1 for about three months. My throttle is awesome, I can ride it at walking speed in any mode with a bare twist of the throttle. It took me a while to discover this I was manhandling it at first. Be gentle and wait fo the brake sensor to release the motor. The throttle is awesome used correctly. They really did their homework with the software. My only complaint with the bike is the running lights come on spontaneously when parked and everything turned off.@@sferides505

That is absolutely the coolest Ebike I've ever seen. Would it travese 12 miles comfortably?
@sferides505

Haha yup it’s an amazing bike. You could easily get probably 40-50 miles using the highest class full throttle the whole time and more range using less power levels. I go for 2 long cruises per charge on average.

I'm on the fence between this A1 PRO 48V, and the WIRED Freedom 60V. (Just because it looks like a regular bike, it can go under the radar, and it's a bit faster). But the A1 PRO looks so cool, I love the design! There's also enough space inside to do some power lithium upgrades in the future. 🤔 I'm in Florida. it's all flat roads over here.

Question: Is one mirror enough or would you reccomend to?
@sferides505
@sferides505 3 ай бұрын
Hello and thanks for the comment and for watching my video! For me and what most riders I think use is just the single left side mirror just to see incoming traffic while on the shoulder or bike lane, however I’ve seen multiple videos of people using two mirrors when they are intercity driving with traffic. Sorry for the late reply I was logging into another account for the winter but am now getting back into the riding season!

Most bikes these days run hydrant brakes as opposed to mechanical I think all the electric bikes I have seen are hydraulic brakes. I love this bike btw still one of my favorites.

Because of the false advertising. One example would be the claim of up to 150 miles per charge. But when you get the bike, you may be lucky to get 60.
@GarryGhale
@GarryGhale Ай бұрын
@dwalter8508 is that all throttle 60 miles?
@plutobars7700
@plutobars7700 Ай бұрын
@@dwalter8508 The 150 range is achievable with a rider of 150 pounds or less on flat roads on assist setting one, using throttle only going higher speeds is comparable to driving in a car, if you use more throttle and go higher speeds then your going to use more gas it's the same logic with an electric bike. Heavier riders equals less range, going over hills will decrease range, going higher speeds decreased range, it's logic. Compared to other bikes the range is way better, 40 amp hour battery vs other bikes that have like 15 there isn't even a comparison plus this battery has 2170 cells and there Samsung, not many bikes using quality cells especially with the larger packs, you usually get some off brand and questionable BMS systems.
