J'ai adopté des jumeaux à la naissance. Deux petits garçons jumeaux de Tahiti. Je ne comprends pas que l'on ait pu séparer ces deux jeunes gens. C'est cruel , l'un comme l'autre ont dû Vivre avec un manque. Heureusement, il semblerait qu'ils aient bien vécu cette épreuve. Bonheur à eux.

oh my! It made me cry so hard. Separated for 22 years but after seeing Anthony on screen Sonia knows right away that this is my twin brother ... that deep connections that only twins know. Thank you for this show for making it possible ... and for Anthony for reaching out to his twin sister. I'm from Philippines, eventhough we have different spoken language but the emotions are too strong and I am really touch of this twin reconnection. thanks to subtitles

He is such a sweet young man who probably has felt guilt all his life that their mother chose him over his sister. Sonia has obviously built a wall and has hardened her heart towards her brother. I hope she realizes at a heart level that it wasn’t his fault and he loves her so dearly. God bless them.

I saw great emotion coming from Anthony, mostly because he was the one who had invested many years, physical and emotional energy, as well as finances into locating his twin sister. He did all of the important groundwork, which allowed Sonia to benefit from all that he had sacrificed, in order to make their reunion possible.

I think that Sonia have must be endured more than Anthony the feeling of being abandoned, more than the brother that had maybe spend more time guilty about it. And searching for her. It was more easy from him to do the first step, but not for his sister who had more pain about her biological family and mom.

She said that she wanted him to come to her, but after she realized that her twin brother was on the other side of the screen she quickly started approaching him. I gotta say that Anthony and Sonia’s story really got to me emotionally. I’m glad they’re reunited. Family needs to stay connected if possible. Best wishes to them.

I can only imagine what Sonia might have gone through when her mother stopped asking about her wellbeing.😢😢 Totally cruel and unnecessary. She must have felt abandoned. But kudos to her adoptive parents for making her feel loved. She turned out to be a nice young woman.🎉

Yes, it’s so sad that she was worried that if she tried to contact her she’d be rejected again. She couldn’t bring herself to say she thought it was her brother behind the curtain in case it wasn’t. I hope they’ve been making up for Lost time.

si elle a était mise à l'adoption c'est que sa mère a renoncer à ses droits parentaux sur elle, si on lui avait retirer ses droits de force elle n'aurait pas pu récupérer son fils.

Si elle était mieux occupée, c’était mieux de la laisser . Il faut pardonner la mère, la charge était trop lourde, heureusement qu’elle n’a pas commis le pire sur la vie de ses enfants.

cet aspect de son histoire n'est absolument pas évoqué; on ne connaît rien des circonstances dans lesquelles la mère biologique a récupéré "une partie" de ses enfants et pourquoi lui et pas elle; ne ne inventons pas un scénario incertain.

Je connais quelqu'un qui à perdu ses 3 enfants quand elle s'est fait truquée a signer sa renonsse parentale. Elle se demandais pourquoi elle ne reçevais plus de visites de ses enfants... la réponse, "Dommage, ils ont tous été adoptés." 😢 Elle à attendu 16 longues années avant de les retrouver.

Le petit a l'air d'etre qlq1 de bien. Je suis tres emu surtt que je n'avais pas vu ma grande soeur depuis ma naissance, on sest rencontré ya 9 ans mais on a pas pu construire une relation, qd je pense à elle j'ai le coeur blessé, tout cet amour que je ne peux exprimer, que je garde pour moi en secret. C'est dommage nos parents font des erreurs et nous subissons les consequences. Je ne sais pas pk je raconte ca ici, tout en ayant la gorge nouee, je retiens mes larmes pr que mon epouse ne me voit pas, peut etre que personne ne va me lire, peut etre que je me dis à moi meme ce que je n'ai jamais dis à personne. On est si compliqués nous les humains.

Если быть более точным, то они двойняшки. Близнецы всегда ОДНОГО пола и похожи друг на друга как две капли воды. Бывает так, что и двойняшки бывают однополыми. Я знаю таких парней, они ощутимо отличаются внешне друг от друга и один из них даже меньше ростом. Но разлучать брата с сестрой - кощунство в любом случае! В этом я согласен на все сто! Знаю не понаслышке, моего отца разлучили с младшим братом в детдоме, в который они попали после войны. По жизни получилось, что навсегда.

This had me in tears. I have a friend who is a twin. She and her sister are so close...I couldn't imagine being separated without regard to keeping the children in touch. The brother is complete now. She's overwhelmed, but subdued. It's good she wanted the curtain to open.

Sonia clearly loves her adoptive parents. But few people realize that adoption is always tough for a child. It's simply unnatural and there is trauma, regardless of how young the child is. People are different, some are more resilient than others, and many adopted adults claim there was no trauma. But many others say differently. I hope this brother and sister can have a loving relationship in the future. They should never have been separated. However, there is clearly a great deal more to this story. I hope that Sonia's hard feelings towards her biological mother are resolved. That she continue to love her adoptive parents too. That's the special thing about love, there's always more to go around.

It was cruel of the mother to separate the twins. They should have been raised by the same family, biological or adopted don't matter much. It is cruel to separate young siblings or twins if they are aware of the existence of the other and can't do anything to be with them.

Only time will tell....I am drenched in tears here, too. Me and my twin brother we never found a common ground. After we had a chance to start anew, we couldn't really. For --first of all my mother was so jealous of us she separated us again and again through gossips and tongue slashing, bad mouthing about me to him or vice-versa. I never believed her but maybe he did believe her. Then, to this day some of my other brothers/sister still continue doing whaat my mother used to do. There is always so much jealousy from my sibilings attached between my twin brother and me... It is a terrible vicious cycle. I have repaired a lot of hurt from my woonded heart but my relationship between me and my twin the hurt seems to be always there. Maybe I need 20 more years of therapy....

v. interesting after i wrote this txt above/or below, my twin brother called me through What'sApp. The App froze my phone froze...couldn't even turn it off. It took several hours until we could connect again. When He finally was able to get thr --he said his wifi was acting out and crazy like on his end too.

C est très triste d abandonner ses enfants , il faut vraiment être sans cœur et sans âme , il y a toujours un moyen pour élever ses enfants et surtout du courage pour travailler pour les élever , ce sont des enfants marqués à vie par leur jeunesse décousue par des mères et pères qui ne méritent pas d avoir des enfants pour les abandonner au lieu d avoir le courage de se lever et travailler pour les élever .

I am a 75 yr man that has no twin. I have a sister and brother and we talk to each other a lot. I cannot fathom having a sibling, let alone a twin, and not knowing them. Once they have time to ealk, learn about each other they will stay reunited. They are both beautiful looking people. I hope their lives become complete and full and they never ever give up on their twin! This brought tears to my eyes.

I'm from a set of identical triplets (one sister died at birth). My sister Jill and I were extremely close (she passed away 15 months ago). I can't imagine living my whole life without her. May those two grow very close. They have a lot of catching up to do. It will be fun to see how much they have in common! 😊

c'est très émouvant ...je suis très contente pour leur retrouvaille !!! dans notre religion il n'y a jamais des cas comme ça !!! la maman garde toujours les enfants malgré la vie difficile et le mal entendu des parents ...les enfants ne sont jamais abandonnés ni séparés entre eux ...et même s'il y a un décè les enfants sont protégés et élèves par les familles ( maternelles ou maternelles ) ...Dieu merci

Oui, c'est criminel d'arracher des enfants à leur mère ! De plus séparer des jumeaux, et pourquoi l'un retrouve sa mère et pas l'autre ? Une loi pour interdire le placement quand le parent n'est pas fou, que le parent est aimant, je préfère être dans la misère mais avoir mes enfants.

Em minha vida passei por esses momentos na infancia com.minha irmã por parte de mãe...famos separados eu tinha uns 6 anos de idade e minha irmã 3 anos...fui para outra cidade....e nao tivemos mais contatos...aos 27 anos nos encontramos...ela que me encontrou...foi muito emocionante...❤

I have twins, a boy and a girl, now age 22. To watch this video was very emotional for me as a mother. I sent a copy to both of my children for them to watch. My twins are very very close, which was always my hope and my dream. Indeed they have such a special bond, it is difficult to explain, difficult to understand, but it is truly magical. To see them play together at a young age, to see them bond with each other at such a young age....how wonderful it was for me!
