I love how genuine this show is, some things you just can't fake even nowadays and having those episodes brought back to the present is refreshing ! C'est beau !

You could see the moment everything came rushing back, when they touched faces. As Arnaud pulls away, and appears that he can barely hold back emotion, his lips quivering, and eyes searching, and Leslie searches right back. Leslie's look as soon as they embrace... is as if she is finally exhaling for the first time in years... That energy was beautiful. I sincerely hope that something was rekindled, and blossomed. I've watched from the curtain opening to the end over and over...truly beautiful.

OMG I used to love this programme, it was everything best about the French. No shame or embarassment about being in love. Then the station got Americanised and they thought it was not hip enough and shut it down. This was just one of so many beautiful moments. How the French can discuss their romantic feelings so openly and candidly is truly wonderful. Love and romance seem to have disappeared from the western world, so sad. Unfortunately such cooled love affairs rarely survive re-heating for very long, but it's a joy to share in the fantasy of love for ever after. What a lovely girl! Also the hostess was so strikingly beautiful. Amazing concept, and perfect cast, with just the right amount of humour to relieve the poignant moments.

Wow! He’s CLASSIC SWISS! I’m American and dated several Swiss when I had lived there. Their lack of communication and emotion is more than a little frustrating but once you break down that barrier it’s sooooooo worth it! I hope this relationship worked out for both of them ❤

For anyone who questions why the guy is hesitant... Meets a cute girl, they spend intense couple of days together... meet again quite some time later. they keep in contact until she stops writing him because of another man, (forced to stop). So... don't you think that Arnaud saw his fears come true that "his girl" was gone when she stopped writing him??? Wise young man to be hesitant! Proof that he is not just a player. Do I hope that they fall in love again and stay together? Yes. The odds that all works out? don't know, time will tell.

I was watching something else, almost dropped my phone and ended up clicking on this video. Glad I did. Hope these two end up together. I really pray that they do!

You can tell the girl loves him - she's completely lost in the moment when they meet. He's a little preoccupied but maybe it's understandable - can't be easy in a TV studio. I saw on social media that they spent the weekend together after the show. It seems the flame had not gone out because two months later they moved to Switzerland and got married. They are still together and have a daughter and a son. Apparently, every year they take a weekend in Paris on the anniversary day of this show and stay in the same hotel.

This is the best of all shows and cases . He was genuinely fkin shocked and stunned. I am a man and I am not shy nor shame to say or admitting/sharing the thoughts to find a man attractiveness / handsome or not and I admits I DO NOT find him all hot or anything at all . Let's say he is tall, clean, simply handsome as from 1 to 10 I would say 5 or 6, and sharp. Good tastes in clothing style . To see him looking stunned ,shocked and disbelief into one emotion or so many emotions being pulled in every direction is a mind boggling. When they hugged, and I saw that he was trying to hold back his tears of joy and love , the gentlemen saw and understood him what it is like a man in front of a crowd delcarling her love for him is something so strong for a man to take compares to how a woman take it and gently encourage them to leave anytime to backstage to be alone. Again this episode of LA Vie in all episodes is the best of all .I can feel all the emotions on that episode . Big smiles. This reminds me of my youth. I'm in a great spot in life right now. With that said, there are some special girls from my past including one from 6th grade (my first real love) and another one who passed away later in life. I would give the biggest hug to each of them if presented the opportunity. At the same time, if I was that dude standing behind a curtain, I'm sure there could be some uncomfortable reunions if the memory of love wasn't mutual. What is that saying? He met & married his beautiful French Wife & she was SO lovely & kind towards us (newly weds) - Ironically his 387th Bomb Group had been based & living down the road from where WE lived ourselves, as a young couple such as these 2 Ironically, we toured Normandy for the entire week on my brand new Kawasaki Z.1000-J Leslie, here, has to be one of THE most stunningly gorgeous young women I've ever set eyes on in my entire life & I can only say that Arnaud guy is one seriously lucky AF, fella !!!!!!! To me she IS THE very definition of the word "Beautiful" in every possible way I do sincerely hope life is kind to her, in future years ❤

This is a very special poised young woman - note the relaxed mature delivery of her story. I am more optimistic about Arnaud - his eyes fill with tears as she tells him the purpose of this meeting. His stoic appearance is betrayed by his nearly shaking approach to meet and hold her - again, his eyes filled with tears - he clearly has very strong feelings for her, as any intelligent man would. I find it amazing that Google, trying to do translation, is totally pathetic - what can one expect from a trillion dollar company - but, they had no trouble filling the story with pathetic ads.

I think it hurt Arnaud a lot when Leslie left him. Hence the hesitation eventhough it was clearly he still loves her.
