Awesome Celebration Mike, great to see your pops and you enjoy your restoration. This is such a great hobby, my second restoration is a '56 Ford F100 that I use daily, it changed the ten minute trip to the hardware store into sometimes a 45 minute conversation with folks in the parking lot. The stories are nearly always great, heart warming memories that are stimulated by the truck. The current Porsche I have in work will likely evoke similar experiences. Congratulations sir!

Mike, I’ve watched all your restoration videos a number of times. They were particularly interesting to me since I drove many many SWB Porsches for work at a Porsche service department when they were new… Far be it from me to give you advice on anything, but I will pass along some advice that was given to me by a Porsche factory service rep (and former factory racing team driver) back in the day: “Keep the revs up. Change engine speed frequently. When you finish the break in miles, change the oil and filter. Drive it like you stole it.” All said with a pronounced German accent… Again, a job well done, Mike. That’s a multi-thousand dollar bolt-by-bolt restoration you did. Very few people would have the dedication to see it through to completion. And few would have the money to have someone do it for them… Well done!

Thank you very much I appreciate your sharing these tips! So far we have clocked less than 100 miles on her but and no baby driving She gets full revs and lots of RPM variation. I will keep this in mind for the remainder of brake in and there after. Its excellent advice=) Thank you for sharing Cheer!
