Why would you ask a plastic surgeon that? Ask a hair loss specialist (Trichologist) or Derm specialising in hair loss. They do work. I've suffered alopecia off and on for thirty years...but no one consults a plastic surgeon over hair loss!!

@@D-hc4ux It’s normal for retinol to dry the skin out, especially during winter where moisturizer is not enough. That is the only problem I am having. Always had combination skin, oily in the T zone, tending to be dry everywhere else. Been using retinol since the births of my last two children when I noticed my skin was definitely starting to age and dry out. I am long past that stage of my life with young children. Will turn 70 this year. Hope Dr Karam answers my question, or else I will call customer support to find out and let people know what I found out.

@@D-hc4ux When I was just starting out with retinol, apply 2-3 times a week at first. Go slowly and start with a mild retinol. Does your skin tolerate? Gradually increase days. I like to give my skin a break on weekends. Also a trick I discovered years ago, to eliminate irritation, apply thin layer of moisturizer before your retinol, creates a barrier and the retinol you put on after still goes to work

Yes it is for the face- it is scented, but it's non comedogenic. Enrich features potent Plant Oils that are packed with omegas and antioxidants to soothe, moisturize and support skin, Astaxanthin, a super-antioxidant that brightens and tones skin, and Backuchiol, a retinol-like plant compound to improve hydration and tone skin.

I would do research on the best, yet most affordable products for your specific concerns. I get several items from The Ordinary, which is very inexpensive and lasts a long time. I get my retinol there, as well as mandelic acid, rosehip oil, vitamin C powder, which I mix with matrixyl in the morning, and hyaluronic acid. Also, organic, cold pressed castor oil is showing a lot of promise. The skin around my tummy seems much tighter than ever, since before my first pregnancy.

Hi I am looking for some advice here on your product line. I've looked at the three items that you are selling and I have a question. It says the illuminator contains retinol but it also says to do this 3 step so rinse, quench and then illuminate twice a day. If that is the case I thought you were only meant to use retinol at night only... I am confused... surely there shud be a separate moisturiser for the morning and then use the illuminate in the evening. What is the retinol percentage in the illuminator. Can somebody, anybody go into a bit of detail regarding this or if anybody has used this product line
@dramirkaram
@dramirkaram 3 ай бұрын
The retinol in Illuminate was never meant as a stand alone ingredient, it is just one of over a dozen active ingredients used for brightening and improving uneven skin tone. The Illuminate was formulated to address various signs of aging skin - dryness, uneven skin tone, firmness, decrease the appearance of lines, wrinkles, smooth texture, brightening and radiance. The formula is a cutting edge product that produces results but has to be tolerated for all skin types and textures even for sensitive skin; therefore the concentration of the retinol has had to be carefully modulated to meet these specifications. The retinol comes in a form of a patented complex designed to maximize absorption and efficacy. Use of full strength retinols and Retin-A cuts the pool of participants significantly as most people can’t tolerate it therefore they stop using it. In this case, even at low doses, it is still creating positive anti-aging effects specifically because it is tolerated and people use it 2x a day for time. For those who want the extra retinol or are already using it, you can use it in conjunction with Illuminate. You would apply it after Rinse.

Also do u have a decent retinol u wud recommend?

I think he knows that skin care is the number one first main ingredient to having a good outcome, especially if you ever decide to get plastic surgery. Wouldn’t you say that’s important? Especially with healing? He made this three step regimen for women that were maybe using 11-15 different product steps to their morning and evening routine. My goodness, that alone will wear you out, especially when you’re tired at night, not to mention all those steps often lead to a bad, time consuming skin care routine. Would you be dedicated to that time consuming routine? I wouldn’t

@@JodyK68are you joking? ! How many women use 10 to 15 products in the morning or night? Yes, skin heals after most surgeons' work!! Since most surgery is cutting into skin, muscle and underlying adipose tissue and fascia! He's not a dermatologist, he's not an expert on skin disease. He may be a brilliant plastic surgeon, but as he says in his own videos, and quite rightly so, skin is skin. He deals with what lies underneath the dermis! Moving muscle etc back into place. Would you ask a surgeon who's brilliant at nose jobs or breast implants or tummy tucks etc etc. about skin? Or, would you ask an expert in....skin!! ? Next time I need a dermatologist I will book an appointment with a plastic surgeon base on your theory 😉 I need an arthroscopy on my knee but I'll go to my scaphoid non union surgeon and not my knee surgeon....(etc). There's a reason why each very narrow speciality exists you know....so they are absolute experts in doing one thing.
