@@Whiskermanhe was a domestic terrorist who followed Trump/musk and a whole bunch of right wingers. Social media companies need to be held responsible in radicalizing these terrorists. Government needs to invest in mental health, stricter gun laws, but both are held back by Republicans who do NOTHING to improve average American lives. They only cut taxes and give sweetheart deals to their corporate masters.

Maybe not in Maine, but rural places just like that area have a lot more mass shootings than big cities. People are lonely in rural areas, because these are not really rural areas as in working in fields together, neighbors visiting each other, full of festive events from birth to death. These are terribly lonely places where if you are not interested in being enslaved in one of local churches, nobody is there for you. And of course people go crazy.

@buhpendrasheron3581 I don't really see what that has to do with anything. People can have opinions, and my opinion is that I find it silly that you make a comment on a video of some tragic event, and you turn it into a statement of what I can only assume as someone's race? Frankly, I don't think that has a time or place here. I don't care if you're trying to attempt to point out anything that may or may not be obvious, however, I want to communicate that I just don't see how it would be appropriate to make a comment of someone's assumable race. Something tragic happened in Maine. Let's not worry about the race of some individual on KZfaq. Let's greive those who have lost their lives due to this violent individual. Let's try to understand what exactly happened with this incident and everything leading up to it, in order to prevent these kinds of things from happening ever again.

To share his experience so that we can as fellow humans have empathy with what he is going through and that he is not grieving alone. Whats crazy to me is that people being interviewed act like this is the first time this has ever happened in this country. Mass shootings are practically a monthly thing in the states. It may have been the first time in this specific town but doesn’t change the fact that this is becoming a common occurrence.

When people relate to hearing voices, it is a huge red flag. This occurrence has been reported with several mass killers. Standard operating procedure should be to separate them from guns and society until they have been given some therapies. This would be an initial step to preventing these crimes.

Even reminding the guy how they dealt with him before and made some jokes. He was saying he was hearing voices in the walls. Eventually the guy either shot or stabbed one of the 2 officers.

You sir need to do more research and dont just take my information but look for youre own sources... people dont need to get their guns taken away they need training and guns to defend themselves, just imagine if 2 or 3 of those people had guns just simple pistols the casualties would have been alot less and the mass shooter probably injured or killed but everyone wants guns taken away and its sad, dont depend on someone else to defend yourself, do it yourself

My dad brought something up watching all this stuff. He said during Vietnam the news would show images and video of kids running down the road in Vietnam with their skin burned off from napalm. Public opinion quickly turned against the war. Fast forward to today and the news goes out of its way to sanitize these mass shootings. Well see a helicopter view of the crime scene, listen to a cop talk, show the numbers killed, ect but we never see the blood and guts. I'd bet that after seeing a classroom of dead kindergarteners blood, guts and bodies piled up that it wouldn't be long until things changed. Could you imagine the NRA president talking about his rights on the news beside a panel of dead children?

@@ronniemoore9289 no, by ‘this extent’ I mean the US seems to have them at least on a weekly basis, & name me another first world country that does? To the best of my knowledge we’ve had 2 in NZ, the first I was just a kid, the 2nd being the awful mosque attack. But you know what our prime minister did immediately after that? The types of weapons that were used, were immediately banned in NZ, full stop. Until the US does that, & they never will, because it’s always someone else who pays the price with a dead son or daughter, spouse, friend, the ones that want the guns & the ones that want the money from the guns, & the ones that want those votes? The just don’t feel any need as it doesn’t affect them.
