They were mostly talking about how the software isn't ready yet and there's no solid release date because of the issues they've go to fix.

To bad I didn't know about the event. I was on vacation last week and Schaumburg is only about a hr n half drive. Would've been cool to check out.

Darn it, I almost went to this. I had a work trip scheduled for that week and canceled it at the last second. I wouldn't mind having that Labyrinth machine. Alien looks cool. I got to play Galactic Tank Force in Cleveland and liked it as well, but I was surprised by the number of 3d printed parts. They sold out of them at the show. Glad to hear that the other games play well on the Legend's 4KP. I have a heavily modded original, but I also pre-ordered on of these out of curiosity.

Crow -- Thanks for the tour! I was mostly interested in the AtGames Legend 4K, but it was *great* seeing all the tables at the event. The only thing that's holding me back from pulling the trigger on the Legend 4K preorder is some info on how many native tables from Zen we will eventually see on the machine. If I knew I could get "Attack From Mars" and "Funhouse" available natively, then that would more than justify the preorder price from my perspective.

TBH, the Zen stuff wasn't yet running great on the AtGames Legends 4K. That's the primary reason it hasn't released yet.

I'm not in any of this footage but I did see you wheel out your big purchase Sat night. The wife and I played doubles on anything that was available. Our favorite was Rocky & Bullwinkle (Data East). I only waited in short lines for some Stern tables but wasn't going to wait in line for games I already played at Enterium with no lines this summer like Pulp Fiction and Galactic Tank Force. Nice camera stability on the footage. There are almost no IPs I'm into so we try to overlook that and just play to see if the game is good. Foo Fighters plays really well. I love the fast tight upper loop games too. I had long high-level tech talks with the atGames/Zen people giving them feedback. I want to see them succeed but I just don't know how they are going to get Unreal Engine stuff running well in 4K on an ARM Mali-G610 GPU. PinballFX requires so much horsepower compared to Magic Pixel's engine.

My phone actually does a pretty good job with the stability of video... plus a lot of footage was taken on a gimbal. I was talking with Akos and Bence at the atGames booth and every once in a while would slip out a technical issue I had with something in Pinball FX.

I have a beef with some of the stream of consciousness Its totally fine to make comments like: "I've never seen the Godfather 1,2, or 3 or Alien or Aliens and really never plan on watching them. When you then go on to summarize your interpretation of these movies (based on what? ) with "Oh, I know what it's all about" "Blowing up Cars, ", "...Offer you can't refuse" etc. I found it annoyingly ignorant. (thus, my comments here) It reminded me of someone who had only heard a few of the early Beatle's songs to then feel qualified to express their opinion they were a totally overrated pop band. I can understand you may not care for Mafia type movies or any Sci-Fi content but to denigrate material that you don't even like to begin with seems like you're going out of your way to criticize them. I guess i could speculate your criticism was simply because these movies were popular and recognized as classics? Dare to be different.

Based on the many many many plot summaries and movie analysis videos I've seen over the years. I can't say whether or not I like the movies or not nor can I say if I think they are good movies or not, but I certainly get references to those movies. I wouldn't say I don't care for Mafia movies and certainly not SciFi movies. I'm just not that interested in those movies in particular and it just might be because I have a tendency to ignore things that are overhyped in pop culture.

@@CrowContinuum Imho folks should save their criticism on things they have never really experienced …to do so is just perpetuating someone’s else’s opinions. I had a partner for 20 years whom went out of her way to disparage anything “popular” so I’m familiar with that perspective . She was very stubborn in this regard and while I did my best to understand her I couldn’t help feel she had a chip on her shoulder to set herself apart from the unwashed masses. All this accomplished was that she was isolated in her own belief structure and socially awkward and off-putting ( ..she would complain:”..I don’t understand why I don’t have any friends") A decade after we broke up we touched base again and I was happily surprised she had lost that judgmental attitude and had matured.

@@xpump876 Perhaps it was the way I did the commentary, but in no way did I intend to criticize the Alien or Godfather franchises. I haven't seen any movies in either franchised so I know I can't. The only reason I had mentioned I hadn't seen them was because I think most people assume that anyone my age has seen those movies and I was just wanted to clarify ahead of time that I didn't. I then was just spouting off random things I knew about the movies just to show I wasn't totally clueless about them. I guess it never really occurred to me that there would be people out there that would say something sucks, but also admit they never experienced it. It just shows that not everyone sees things exactly the same way.
