People keep saying without Rodri we don’t win, but also ignore the fact that with Rodri we also drew the games. It’s not just the midfield that’s shaking but the defense and the attack( everything needs adjusting)

We're seeing why a player like KDB is so valuable to city. I knew they'd drop points with him being out, it's very hard to adjust in this league with such a key player injured.

@@viceminerrr4802 that’s what I’m saying, that Rodri here is the key but him providing us stability in the midfield doesn’t do anything when the defense cannot do their job. They go way up the opposition box and leave him exposed in the counters. That’s why the people who end up tracking the attack are wingers like Doku was the only one left behind to deal with Son because all the defenders were living their winger dreams

There's a meaningless Champions League game against Crvena Zvezda away, and you know, it's not an easy game due to the hell-ish atmosphere of the Marakana. Liverpool in 2018 lost 0-2 in the Champions League, before winning the entire thing.

Always nice to hear Pep’s thoughts after a difficult game. I agree 100%, the performance was not as shambolic as people are saying, our starting XI are tired and underperforming. Getting outplayed has never felt this positive. He knows it will serve as a wake up call for the team. We need our midfielders to stay fit, of course we’re going to be overly reliant on Rodri when KdB and Kova and Nunes are all out. Glad to see them both back hopefully they can play a few full 90s to give a bit of rest to Bernardo and Akanji. Within a month or two City will be firing full power again with De Bruyne returning 💪

Against Villa the midfield was Lewis, Stones and Akanji. Last season it would have been KdB, Gundo and Rodri. No surprise we never got going

@@jasonmillsom2981 Not even 1/3 of the season has passed. Last season arsenal was leading on top with 8 points 1 month before the season ended and u know what happened. And about the refs they're mostly scaming us, including last season. Arsenal had 3 or 4 games with 7-8 mins added (where they won in the last minute) while City had a game with 5 added stopped in the 94th. And we still spanked everyone.

Remember: The Club World Cup this year is quite unpredictable. I expect both Urawa and Al Ittihad to contest in all-Asian Final, meaning there will be the first Asian club to win this competition! None is coming to close to Pep. Amazing trainer. They should work on issues like the ball is stick to the foot of Grealish but not to Foden, Gvardiol, Halland sometimes Silva. Train them, are they tired? Single touch passing like Barca with Pep? Why City change to more direct play when it is too risky as the last results show this? Who is leader among the players, I do not see it? My favorites are Alvarez and Ake forever.

This is Pep we are talking about, this guy made us into serial winners, made us win a treble, made us win the champions league, that made us a force to reckon with... No better coach in the university... That's my take on this guy. City is not playing that bad .. sure the result if not the best, but Aston villa beat us by one goal... City only lacks a leader on the field... Oh I wish we had Company right now even more than Kevin I know the football world would be shaking in their boots...
