Context for poison: Angel Dust is a porn star, Valentino is his pimp/producer. Angel did sell his soul to Valentino, assumedly because he wanted to become a star and didn't realize what he was giving up. More Angel Dust context: when he was alive, his father was a mafia boss and super homophobic. So it makes sense that once he got to hell, he wanted to own his sexuality more, and maybe explains why he thought signing with Val would be a good idea- he'd been dealing with corrupt sharks all his life, what's one more?

The reason the people in the first song were so obsessed with eating the angels is because they were cannibals 😭

The first song? Charlie's in CANNIBAL TOWN. She is trying to recruit the Cannibals to her cause. There is the context you needed for the hunger.

What makes the scene from poison even worse is that when Angel is smoking a cigarette as he gets tied up, the smoke is grey. Then when Valentino takes it and blows it into Angel's face, the smoke is red. The next frame is in Angel's POV, his vision gets hazy just before he gets blindfolded. It strongly implies that Valentino Drugs Angel to make him lucid so he can't fight back when he is assaulted.

The guy, Charlie's dad is voiced by Jeremy Jordan, who also Voiced Varian from Rapunzel's Tangled adventure/Tangled the series!

You know what I need in second two? Lucifer getting a villain coded song. Not being an actual villain but one where the vibe is his just his “big boss of hell” line. Something where he gets to remind some minor antagonists that HE runs hell. Cause it’s fun when he’s Charlie’s kinda goofy and awkward dad but my favourite moments are definitely his, “I’m her dad but you can call me Daddy” voice drops

the angel guy you dont trust is Saint Peter, who's actually played by Darren Criss!! he's an amazing singer and actor, and he's a major character in glee (please check out the songs from there, theyre super good!) and he plays Harry in A Very Potter Musical (another thing i think you'd love)! hes amazing, and honestly still to this day one of my favorite actors.

The blonde angel in welcome to heaven is Saint Peter, he isn't a bad person hes just the tourist guide of heaven, after the song we dont see him anymore. I don't know if you watched Glee but his voice actor is Darren Criss, he played Blaine in Glee and he also played Harry Potter in "A very potter musical"

A little bit of context for the show must go on, the character that died was sir pentious, the snake guy, who I don't know if he's appeared in any songs you've watched but was the one they were saluting in the photograph. Alastor was fighting with them, but got was almost killed by Adam so retreated. Theyre building a hotel specifically because of the premise being a hotel to rehabilitate sinners, hence the name of the show (a more obvious one but thought i'd still say). On another note, these videos have been so fun to watch and I'm glad you love the show, can't wait for you to have watched the full show!

Alastor wasn’t the one the beginning of Finale was referring to(you probably should’ve watched the episodes first since it’s a big spoiler lol) He simply got injured during the fight against Adam and had to run. The others didn’t know if he was dead or not, and he almost did die there which is what that line meant. It was actually referring to Sir Pentious, a snake like sinner that Charlie got to join the hotel after he failed in his initial mission. He became one of the main characters and stuck around for the fight against the exterminators only to be killed when he sacrificed himself in an attempt to defeat Adam so his friends would be safe. In the beginning of Finale Charlie is blaming herself for it and later they hung a portrait of him in his honor. There’s more to it but that part I’ll keep hidden. There’s still Out for Love, one of my favorites, to listen to(also have you listen to It Starts with Sorry? Maybe you have and I missed it)
