There's hundreds of clips with mistakes. Lars is well known for this more than any other drummer. What's not so well known, especially with him being behind the kit, is that he's always been extremely involved in the creation, writing, and development of the band. A style of music that's influenced almost every heavy band, since then! I remember seeing "Kill em All", and being super excited. We had the Metal Massacre compilation albums, and were loving their sound. Then the excitement of seeing "Ride The Lightning" (the original on Megaforce Records). Within a month or so of this release, they were on a Major label. The Black album was the last I owned. They had enough fans to remain getting bigger, and always have, since then. Biggest band in The World, now!

I have played instruments at a low level. I also have kids in school bands and have played for years of piano lessons. I am disgusted at what he passes for professional drummer.

There were two things, Lars was slightly late, but the real problem is that he played it on the open crash. Drowning all the sound, making it hard to tell what was even happening. So even if he was right on time, it makes it really hard to even tell. If you listen to the next time they play it, he holds the crash now, and it sounds way better.
