I recently bought a Jr with one completely missing post and another snapped off half way. I used a combination of shrink tubing and UV cured resin to rebuild the missing portions of the posts and drilled new holes to receive screws.

I find you break less posts when you slightly tighten the screws to break the factory glue then unscrew.

I was aware of that best practice, but found I was unable to successfully execute it.

What if you just add the MOD without removing any components?

Good question. I don't know. Maybe it's easier.
