Can I get short grass with stripes mowing every day for a week?

It definitely cuts well with that 10 blade. A dose or two of lawn treatments (seaweed etc) would make a big difference to the grass and colour

Thanks John. Will look into that. I'm looking at non chemical assistance so seaweed is a good shout

I bought a 10 blade some time ago,got it on ebay with a cheaky £65 offer, and it was accepted. I dont think they realised the value of it. Fitted 2 new bearings,sharpened and painted it. Used only a couple of time, didn't really see the benefit on my lawns. Been sitting on the garage wall for a long time. I was thinkg of selling it but scared to part with it😂.

It's a 14 isn't it? Probably worth £220 to £275

8:42 how did you clean up the mower? Plans for any videos of bringing this one back to life. Was hoping to hear the SE start up on electric ;)

Yes I'll get a battery on it. Good point. The Allett Classic was cleaned with wd40 and a course green scouring pad. I buy the 5L wd40 containers which come with a spraying applicator.

If people did that before they sold their mowers they would get 25%+ more

@@mowerboy7914 😃 I may have to give that a go on a small area to start with on my Qualcast 35s I picked up for £60. Maybe next year I'll pick up a much better looking one.
