@@aymanelrafee1 it requires 3kv to break the isolation and form the voltaic arc, then every mm of the arc is equal to 1kv, by the video, it looks like 10 to 15kv (1 to 1.5cm arc)

That voltage is in the order of 2 - 3 kV. Because you the arc starts by just touching or from 1 mm apart. (I believe 500kV was written mistakenly.) The isolation of the cables you used is so weak that it can not withstand more than 3 kV. The same is true for the windings. There is no extra insulation between the winding layers. The isolation of the enamel is good for only 1kv. Why dont you measure the output voltage by a capacitive voltage divider?

It's not wrong, it's deliberately exaggerated. There is something called breakdown voltage. Under normal conditions it is about 3Kv per centimeter for air. If it was 500Kv it would be electrocuted and killed instantly if grounded regardless of whether the wire insulation was good or not. Even stun guns can kill you with their 2-7mA current, and here it is probably much more and not just a pulse like there and with the lightning. Even with this real voltage, it's not done that way. If there is a break in the insulation or until the cable and you are not insulated, the damage can be fatal. It was not played with such high voltage. Electricity is no joke.

Good work! But you should revise the text for Super high voltage generator 10000V and not 500000V!. The arc of a potential voltage of 500000V would reach 50 centimeters aproximately, and not 1 centimeter like it is doing! Is not possible to reach 500000V utilizing a device like this......

Please check properly ,, Running with drill you get about 2500v,,, when run it with proper motor you may get upto 5000 v,,, I suggest not to run at high speed or the winding may get burnt at this voltage,,, since it is not made for high voltage,,, It is a very good effort anyway,,,,,

la idea es buena pero el pegamento instantáneo no es adecuado ya que este se sale con el calor y lo otro el calibre del alambre es muy delgado por lo tanto generara un nivel de watts súper alto pero su caída a la hora de la carga o descarga seria demasiado bajo ya que su capacidad de amperes es muy baja y será mayor su recalentamiento saludos desde colombia

add to that machine a wimshurst static generator and get MEGGA volts also use a secondary thick coil 25 or 30 turns ,, in back of the first coil you made to get the higher amps. ALL you need to run a full house on is 120 volts 50 - 60 amps divided by the fuses for each room 6000 Watts continuous. The more things you have for a load ,, the more harder it will be to spin the magnet and it will heat up the coil. That is why they use gas engines to rotate the shaft on generators because an electric motor can not take the continuous load. BUT if you are running equipment that takes less power then an electric motor will work.

ok i'M NOt sure why you didn't reply to anyone, but I'll ask the same question. very impressive indeed that you have created 500kv, but how can we use it to power anything ? is there is any way you can dial it down to 220-110v and turn all the lost voltage to AMPS? if you can do that, then it's a well don generator, if not, then it's just a massive taser lol. one more thing, what is the point of having those plates? are they made of iron ? or aluminum? would it still work as good without them?

At sea level, every 1 mm equals 1000 volts, and 1 cm equals 10,000 volts. Accordingly, your device is 1 cm, that is 10,000 volts.

Yes, but the losses are quite high. An open "ladder line" has lowest losses.

Yeah. At 500000V it will peobably cause massive shock on that person during this experiment, probably leading to violent electrocution and inevitable death.

as a general rule of thumb (very general) for about 1mm gap for it to Start arcing (not how long you can pull it) = 1000v. so yeah, this is about 2000v

Why didn't it arc when it shorted the first coil? It should have at least sparked

Your leads are most likely rated for 600V or less and your system is producing 500KV, your whole apparatus should be in flame if it produced 500KV

I agree, it is defiantly making high voltage but its certainly not 500kV lol. I would guess its more like 3kV to maybe 8kV MAX. The video has more value than many DIY videos on KZfaq where the item constructed could not possibly function as shown so there isn't a need to exaggerate its output to the point of impossibility. If it were 500kV there would be A LOT of arc over in the coils to the point of it probably not working or shocking the operator.
