One of the members, Mingi, is actually on a break right now to deal with some anxiety and isn't promoting with Ateez, so the other members covered his parts (he's the deep voice rapper). But the one with the angelic voice you heard and then thought you mixed up when he changed tones immediately after is the same person (Yunho). Omg yess Ateez!! Seriously Ateez is such an amazing and talented group, you're in for a journey!! Also the 1st song btw was Inception, the second song was Answer. Both of these songs were released earlier this yr~ Hope you check more of their song out, and honestly this group freaking shines in their live stages. Their stage presence is what they're known for. And yeah~ you'll find out that the members have amazing ranges. You were right when you noticed certain members hitting lovely high notes and also singing with a deeper voice (Those were members Seonghwa & Yunho btw) Also the member sitting at the throne at the end of the performance is Hongjoong, the leader of the group

The fact that ATEEZ didn't use any props for mama performances says that they don't need any of it because their stage presence is AMAZING

And they are famous for their incredible live performances (one of which you just witnessed). They weren't even at full strength in this performance because their main rapper Mingi was missing and they STILL killed the stage! You FOR SURE need to check out more of their music. Just give it about 2 watches and you'll start the thirst. They're actually down one member which is why the two eldest members actually sounded like two different people - because Mingi (the missing one and is a super bright ball of sunshine offstage but was having some serious anxiety issues here as of late) was on the backtrack and Hongjoong (the one you said needed to chill - like no lie, this stage is relatively chill for him) and Seonghwa (the massive range one) were doing his parts. Seonghwa can't get as low as Mingi's natural voice even when talking in dialect (and his voice drops all the way through the basement into the pits of hell when he does), so that's why you heard more of the two different voices there and without a hand mic, you can't really get the volume right like Hongjoong can. The one you were legit upset that you weren't thirsting over is San. We call him Sa(ta)n. For good reason. (That reason is called Say My Name and Hala Hala.) Also. He's not one of the main dancers. He's the lead vocal. Hongjoong and Seonghwa make up the other 2/3 of Ateez's (in)famous 'demon line' - yes. Demon. Line. They're all happy fluffy boys offstage, but those three onstage. Damn. You only realize that you offered your soul up to them after the fact because you're just blown away. Also - they have a cousin group. (Cousins because not the same company but the same producers.) If you liked Ateez's dark, you'll be digging Dreamcatcher's gothic witch vibes and hard rock style.

Hi, just to let you know that they are the only reason why I got into Kpop again after B.A.P. disbanded in 2018. Now, they bring so much joy into my life. Btw, loved your reaction. Kinda reminds me of myself when I discovered them through another Yt kpop reactor (Bris Life). Ateez hooked me so fast. I downloaded all their albums within a week. They are the funniest and cutest guys. After the guide you should watch some compilation videos of them. Hongjoong is one of my ULTs (the leader on the throne) and he is so vicious on stage but adorable in real life.

There is a member on hiatus for anxiety but you can hear the deep voice when the rap comes on! Yes, the king is Hongjoong. A real king jajaja Check last year MAMA performance and Immortal Song live performance, their thing is being awesome and powerful on live.

Can you react to THE BOYZ MAMA 2020 performance too Ateez Stray Kids and The Boyz’s stages were all connected which is why people probably requested the Ateez reactions. You will be blown away by their performance too :) They had a Greek gods concept which was the theme of each performance in order of performances The Boyz (Zeus the king of gods) -> Ateez (Hades god of the dead) -> Stray Kids (Ares God Of War) then at the end they had a dance performance of 1 member from each group doing a dance performance called “the triangular fight” which had Juyeon (TBZ), Hyunjin (SKZ), and San (ATZ). The 3 groups are very close friends with each other so everyone was in shock that we got a connected stage with them.

So we became Atinys at the same time. This MAMA 2020 performance changed my life. T____T lemme cry in the corner.
