What a great and detailed tutorial, thank you! I've watched a few if these, and you're the first person to recommend zig zag stitching over the edges if the zipper after it's attached. I love that! It looks so professional. Even though no one will see it, I like knowing I've made a quality item and taken the extra steps to do a really good job. Also, thanks for reminding us to drink water... Another first for a sewing video! Merci!

It's very similar to my yoga mat case. I love the pillow & it is most comfortable for the top of a beach blanket for resting head & neck. 👍🧡👍🧡👍

I have looked at so many bolster tutorials but your explanations are in such detail and you captured every step in the video so it should be easy to follow along. I made this roll pillow case and got a pretty good case on the second try. Neck roll pillows are stiffer than regular pillows (I got a firm Temperpedic pillow from BBBeyond). So I had to leave a long opening in the case to get it on the pillow after sewing - then I sewed snaps on the opening for easy removal and washing. Sewing the circle onto the rectangle was tricky!! I think the key is to measure the circumference of the circle that the rectangular piece makes after it’s folded and sewn lengthwise. This circular opening is smaller than the original length of the side of the rectangle because of the hem. After measuring the circumference of this opening, THEN measure and cut your two circles for the ends. Happy Sewing!

I used spelled husks but you can use fabric scraps as well !

I've been following your yoga bolster video but I've hit a glitch. I can't find an invisible zip measuring 66cm. What would you advise? I can find zips of 56 cm but I'm not sure if this would be suitable. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,

Why do you add the zigzag stitches around the circles seam?

It prevents the fabric from fraying, especially if you want to wash it often in the washing machine 🌸
