There’s a fun trick you can do with item vaults. Massive item vaults act as one. So if you put an item(precision mechanism) in one end, you can instantly output it on the other end

What I'm hearing now that you have tracks and bricks automated, is that you need to build a metro line now to connect all of the bases on a big loop

I would love to see you experiment with the automation options from mods like Quark. They're really faithful to vanilla, and I think it would be cool to see someone who knows what they're doing to experiment with them.

@@mattyiceeI feel like Mechanical Mastery wouldn't be good right away, it engages with so many different & unique mods that jumping straight into it would be overwhelming. Preferably smaller packs that let you focus on optimizing individual mods from that suite overtime to gain a deeper understanding of them individually before finally showcasing one's * ahem * Mechanical Mastery.

@@zack1stplayer that’s a good point. I think it would be fun to see ilmango experience classic modpacks like Botania: Garden of Glass (1.7.10, but there are unofficial ports to later versions). The original is pretty old, so he would miss lots of base Minecraft features, but I think it’s still worth playing.

I haven't actually tried it in this version of TFC, but I believe you can add fruit to the barrel of curled milk to make cheese with fruit in it. Then you can make sandwiches with all five nutrition types.

From what I remember, you put fruit in curdle milk to change its taste profile in the old version, but not infuse the nutrients. So I doubt it work on new version

In vanilla create, if honey touches lava, it makes limestone. A flux stone. Try it? There's also a special interaction with liquid chocolate and lava.

If I'm not mistaken the Mechanical Harvester replants the seeds in normal Create mod, maybe it works the same in ATFC

Its actually a really common misunderstanding about random event evening itself out over time. What evens itself out is the percentage of something happening, not the number that it is out of proportion. Meaning if we do coinflips, after 100 coinflips we might have 55 times head, so 55% of the times its head. But only 10 more heads than tails. But after 1'000'000'000 flips, we will end up at maybe like: 49.995% times head, but this then means we have flipped tails 100'000 more than we did heads. So only the percentages will even themselves out over large numbers, while the number of ofsets will slowly increase in a random (sometimes fliping) direction.

Would the percentages evening out not result in the number evening out in the long run? If you infinitely flipped a coin, the percentage would eventually even out to 50% head 50% tails. If that is the case, wouldn't the offset also even out so that half of each result is present, and thus the number being evened out as well.

The difference between the number of mortar and number of bricks produced is a random walk in 1 dimension. As long as the system isn't biased towards one direction or the other it will always return to the mean.

@cwfreak123 Both can be true at the same time. Meaning the percentages converge to the mean, while the event numbers diverge. For example, lets say after x amount of flips we will always have the squareroot of x times more heads than tails. Then we start out with a really bad percentage. But as x gets large enough the square root of x will become tiny compared to the number of flips done. Here are the numbers of the example above: 100 flips: sqrt(100)=10 so 55 heads, 45 tails. 55% heads. 1'000'000 flips: sqrt(1M) = 1000, so 500'500 heads, 499'500 tails. 50.05% heads. 10^12 flips: sqrt(10^12) = 10^6, so 500'000'500'000 heads, 499'999'500'000 tails. So we now have a 50.00005% chance of getting heads. So you see how the chances of getting heads converges, while the difference in heads to tails can diverge.

Hey ilmango, I was already thinking about that if you made your mining machine any larger that you'd run into storage issues. So, just an idea for you for a perimeter sized machine: Maybe make separate 16 x 16 wide drill machines that move back and forth, and "dock" onto a much larger item vault for unloading (but built in a way where each Vault can still be "picked up" individually); and maybe even design a way to make it slightly automatic for item storage with the vanilla minecart tracks built ahead of time and redstone ... IDK exactly, but just a rough idea. It will probably be useful information to know how many "items" are allowed to fit into each item vault and design them accordingly to size. Obviously some sort of content observer type of setup so each drill knows when it needs to be unloaded, and retracts; which then relocates each "filled vault" into like a bank of chests or something for the player to clean later. ie. having "empty" vault minecarts on one side, and filled on the other. It would obviously be much slower than TNT duping; but I can see something like this as possible. I also have no idea how you can "sweep" out the liquids using ATFC mechanics, or if that is even required.

Does ATFC still have the 10k block volume liquid lake = infinite source from base Create? You could have an ocean of lava for example. Things that are annoying or improbable to automate in the TFC manner.

Skyblock has updated to 1.20 and it has lots of new fun features to get the armour trims.I really love this series but I can't wait for you to go back to Skyblock.And suggestion if you post Skyblock and ATFC together you might get more views since people can get bored after watching the same series.

I said it once and I will say it again: minecart contraptions with big inventories are dangerous. Contraptions have an upper limit for blocks, it is big, and a NBT depth check. What they do not have is a NBT size check and I speak from experience when I say you can corrupt a chunk picking up one of those monsters, it is in fact the same side effects that allowed them to mine bedrock on survival.

@@matthewparker9276the deployer can use a pickaxe to mine the blooms - the ingame handbook points that out. the rest is up to you, but I recommend a hopper minecart for collection and a brass funnel on a timer for the input
