To indicate you have been in an ancient city you could place blue glass panes inside the portal. Don't tell anyone though as it would be funny when they just enter the city and think the portal is lit up for some reason 😂

Whenever I feel like I might be getting an overinflated Minecraft ego, I check out the stuff you and the psychopaths of SciCraft create. It brings me down to Earth pretty quickly because _wow_ this is over-the-top awesome! I have a question for you: Have the SciCrafters _ever_ managed to collect one of every variant of Tropical Fish? The Wiki states that there are 2700 naturally-occurring variants, all of which are visually distinct in some way. I think that that would warrant an _amazing_ zoo/aquarium build on the SciCraft server, assuming you don't have one already!

You and the rest of you maniacs on SciCraft are incredible! You all set the bar so high, and even tho I am miles away from even comprehending what you're even doing, it's amazing see it done in such style! I have a random redstone question if anyone reading has the time to answer me: what is the use of pumpkins in the redstone for the storage system that was being shown? That's one thing I don't quite get yet: when people use like noteblocks or pumpkins/melons in their builds. Sometimes it feels like I can just put a regular block there instead and it not change anything, no?
@fly1ing891
@fly1ing891 Жыл бұрын
The only use I know for pumpkins is temporary blocks as they can be removed by pistons, and thus by flying machines. It may be that here they're rather jack-o'-lanterns which are cheap full blocks that emit light. Noteblocks are used to update blocks around them when they get powered. It's especially useful for pistons due to quasi-connectivity *technically* powering the piston but not updating it, so the piston won't extend/retract unless it gets updated.
