ATG/Tape Runners/Dry Adhesive for Card Making/ Scrapbooking-Why So Many?

There are so many dry adhesives for paper crafting. Card making and scrapbooking require many different kinds of adhesives for different applications. Tape runners, pop dots, glue dots you name it. There are so many types, it can be overwhelming, Scotch ATG, Tombow, Xyron are just a few of the brands available. And just recently, Dollar Tree has made a variety of adhesives available as well. Although I have my favorites, I always have my eyes open for new adhesives that are useful and cost effective. I've had many of my friends complain about the current tombow tape runners, lately. (2022-23) I still have "tombow dot" refills from a couple of years back, so mine are fine. But just beware. That has been my favorite, in addition to the 3M ATG gun, but now I'm thinking I may have to switch, when I run out of my stash. 😉 Thankyou so much for your information. Very helpful. 👍

My very first tape runner was the Xyron but with Anna Griffins logo on it.I loved and still love it.however I've seen so many people buy the art gun and I really wanted one so I got it.I think refilling it is a pain but I'm still happy with it.I used to work at Tuesday morning (b4 they closed my store)and never bought any of the tape runners there but I have been buying up all of the dollar tree foam tape as well as the 2 sided tape.I love it...I agree I never bought the Xyron big stickermachine but did buy the 3 pack of disposable ones.I love using it to make stickers. I have found that Jan is a dangerous place for us crafters...lol...

I loved the xyron tape runner at first, until I had to refill it. All the refills I could find were super expensive, and did not perform as well as the original. The refills from tape jungle for the scotch tape runner worked out great. I highly recommend it! Since the time I made this video, I was able to find the foam tape 3 packs at dollar tree, and the double sided tape. I so agree with you, they are AWESOME! Thanks for watching!😀
