Tape Runner Adhesive Dispenser Review: Which is Best for Paper Crafting

There are so many different double-sided tape runners on the market. It is hard to know which one is the best for projects, the best value, and is going to actually do the job well.
I will tell you, there is one that I just tossed in the trash. No doubt about it...do NOT buy that one.
And one or two that will make it to my "most favorite" tool list. Guarantee that I will use them as long as they exist. Which could be a long time. I have some tools that I have been using for over 20 years!

I recently purchased the E-Z-Runner Grand and I love the ease of use, the tape holds well, each roll will last a long while with the replacement going in with ease.

Thank you. Tape runners and liquid glues are the bane of my existence. I have drawers full of unused ones. I keep them for back ups. Silly but I try not to waste them,

I feel the same way. The only one I have ever just flat out tossed was the Reflections one.. The others are in a box...waiting. Sometimes, taking them apart and using them in a different way (without the dispenser) can work. Just depends on the tape. And my patience level.

the EZ Grand runner. On my 3rd replacement. First one worker great. The next two stopped working (the cellophane inside breaks).😮

Well. That stinks. Good to know though. I've been using it for EVERYTHING so that I can do an update on how far I make it with a cartridge. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you, I went to Amazon to purchase one, but thought I have about 12 of them home I’m not in love with, so I Googled how to find the best tape dispenser, came upon your video which Was FANTASTIC!!! Thank you so much! Also, I thought it was me, but now I see, it was defective tape dispensers……

It is definitely not you. I'm happy that you found my video and hopefully a tape dispenser that doesn't frustrate you to no end. The crappy part is having the 12 other dispensers just sitting there. I'm not sure what we are supposed to do with those!

Great video! Thank you for all the research and time that went into making this for us! I've already got the EZ Runner Grand in my Amazon cart (cheapest) and I've got the Craft Perfect Tissue Tape in my Walmart Cart (cheapest). I had to laugh when you threw the Recollections one in the garbage...mainly because I bought it a bit ago, but haven't taken it out of the packaging yet (I wonder if Michael's will give me a refund...LOL) Thanks again!

Michael's might do a refund. I'm not sure, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Better than tossing it like I did. Maybe I'll dig it out and take it back just to see what they say.

Thanks for the reviews. I tried the EZ Runner Grand because I was tired of going through so many small dispenser tapes. I may have been using it incorrectly, because before long it completely tangled up, and I lost all the rest of the tape. Is there a trick when using it that you find is necessary? I know at least one other dispenser needs to be squeezed slightly to have it work properly. I want to give it at least one more try.

Hi Mary. I am at least 3/4 through my tape roll in the EZ Runner Grand. I haven't had any tangling (I say that and then I will). I'm wondering if keeping a consistent speed when you roll it would help. I don't rush mine...other than that, I'm not sure.
