I think this guy is actually a very sincere and smart person, he just has to start searching more in the eastern socities and less in the western because his mindset is very very "westernized". and I mean by that is the western philosophy school of going in circles. This is a super distructive mentality that usually leads to the conclusion that "I probably should stop thinking about it". With that being said he is a brave man that is ready to listen to what others have to say. I do hope Allah guides him to the truth.

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al Khudri ( RA ) : Allah's Messenger Muhammad( peace be upon him ) said , " If a person embraces Islam sincerely , then Allah shall forgive all his past sins , and after that starts the settlement of accounts , the reward of his good deeds will be ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and one evil deed will be recorded as it is unless Allah forgives it . " ( Sahih al - Bukhari 41 , Book 2 , Hadith 34 )❤

For internationality and intelligence maybe you can use the argument that even if you have all the components for a camera in a closed space, no body would expect them to assemble to camera even if billions of years passed without having intelligent being that have intention to construct it together to become a camera
