Sounds like the exact same date and venue that Morbid Angel played, which is included as a bonus dvd with certain reissues of Altars of Madness. However that disc is a crock of shit and a hoax, because it's clearly nothing more than the studio album mixed over the concert footage.👎 Oh yah, right, you were talking about Carcass.....well some of their stuff is pretty good too.

But I do miss the 1980s... motorhead / venom / hellhammer/ sodom/ destruction ....crossover , HC punk and metal was all aggressive... the (88-89) 1990s really changed everything. The only CC album I was ever able to play all the way thru without turning off and/or becoming completely bored of (zoning out), is probably... Butchered At Birth. Idky? But it is what it is. As for best death metal album of all-time? Depends on the subgenre we're talking about... since many death metal bands don't even sound anything alike. You can't compare a slam band with a melodic death band nor to a old school band. This is why Venom doesn't work when you argue "best black metal band / album" considering they barely sound like anything compared to a Gorgoroth or a Wolfchant (for example).

@@Riky_Jones By some maybe, but in reality there are many many movies that are worse than Battlefield Earth. By any chance have you seen the 1989 film entitled "Things"? And yes that's the actual title. Things gets my vote for worst film ever, before I found out about Things I would have said that "Rollergator" from 1996 is the worst film in existence, another ultra-terrible one from 1995 is "Baby Ghost". Have you seen either of those 3 movies Ricky? If not and your curious to see the absolute worst of the worst track down that terrible trio. 1. Things 2. Rollergator 3. Baby Ghost

I got into Metallica in 1988. I was 13. I've been INTENSELY devouring metal since then. I had never heard of mask boy here. I have every single album, EP and DVD that Cannibal Corpse has released. They're fucking KILLER. Every single album kicks ass (some more than others). So, you don't have any CC in your collection? Ooh! Such a badass. You sound like a hipster. "They're popular so I don't like them. I like more underground shit. I'm so cool!" 🤣 Bet you haven't heard of Reverorum Ib Malacht. EDIT: I had listened to several Midnight songs from various albums. I'm listening again. It's not terrible but it's definitely not special at all. Pretty generic and boring. *shrug*

You sat here and praised CC while calling midnight generic? I hate to burst your little fan boy bubble but CC has released the same fucking album since 1996. They are the definition of generic death metal, don’t come for midnight because you like the same shitty George fisher albums over and over again.
