@mrblackmagic28 not if your consuming more calories > burning. Also it depends completely on the food you are eating. Doubt anyone can *trim up* if they have a diet low in protein, high in sodium/insert various other things that cause bloating, etc. Yes you can simplify getting lean in the sense a lower calorie diet and some cardio, but the real results come when you use the right amount AND type of fuel for your body.

@mrblackmagic28 just getting up at 0500 will not mean you will lose pounds. you need to look at your intake of food, and then work out at a rate that will burn the fat. and getting up at 0500 is not the easiest thing in the world to do. i would rather run a 13 miler at 1300 then at 0500 or even at 1600.

diet is the biggest factor cuz running doesn't burn as many calories as some people think. on average just over 100 calories/mile. controlling your diet can get rid of hundreds to thousands of calories a day
@BrianKim1677 жыл бұрын
Jake Barker elaborate?
@larrymasterspowerbuildingc44777 жыл бұрын
Sorry for stepping in, and no disrespect. I can maybe add something useful for you? Better lungs and endurance mean better fat burning because you use more oxygen and that fuels the butter burning fire. Conditioning is key. You set yourself UP for burning more calories at rest.But losing too much fat too quickly can throw fat burning hormones off, so people have to know that if you go hard, you have to eat lots of nutritious food. I made the mistake of training too hard and not eating enough and your body will go into a metabolic shock and store everything as fat until it is satisfied that you are out of danger. Then your hormones have to come back into balance, and that can take a long time---6-8 months sometimes. That's what happened to me after i got into weight training. I was amazed at how easy it is to lose tons of fat---fast-- and i over did it. There is also the psychological factor of having your hard work just come undone and not being able to do a fucking thing about it. So eat. Eat if you are going to really train hard. The nutrition is key. You just gotta make sure to cut OUT useless calories and throw in the same amount of the good nutritious ones and you can begin to see the finish line.
@MoSec96 жыл бұрын
Jake Barker Diet is important and I'm no expert but you definitely need a much stricter diet without running a lot. One thing I'm sure of is that I've never seen a fat runner. So I don't understand what kind of running you speak of. May ne you mean 20 min run on a treadmill. This guy runs miles on a daily basis.
