Atlantis Bahamas | How We Traveled and Stayed for FREE + Coral Room Tour & Review

In this video, we put the spotlight on Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. But is this spot right for you? Join me as we check it out!
We start the video on day one with a room tour at The Coral in Atlantis. We then take you on a quick tour of the resort followed by dinner at Carmines in the Marina.
On day two, we check out the beach, eat some crab cakes at Shark Bites and some conch fritters at Pisces. We then take a quick dip in the lagoon before checking out Jake Wesley Rogers, Vanessa Carlton and Nile Rodgers & Chic in the Imperial Ballroom. We end the night playing slot machines in the casino.
Day two, we have a quick breakfast at Dunkin and hang out on Cove Beach. We then have a quick bite of some coconut shrimp at Pisces. After another quick dip in the lagoon, we check out the Coral pool before grabbing pizza from Marina Pizza and get ready to see Megan Moroney, Sheryl Crow and Lionel Richie in the Imperial Ballroom. We end the night, of course, gambling in the casino.
Day four, we decide to have a pool day at The Coral pool. We, once again, eat at Pisces and try their cracked conch. We attempt a trip to Bay Street but unfortunately everything is closed by the time we get there so we head back and get ready for our fish tasting dinner at José Andrés Fish in The Cove. We end the night checking out The Dig aquarium before packing up and heading to bed.
Day five, we fly from Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) back home to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

We were just there for two weeks and loved it. You were there the first week that we were and the weather was terrific. The second week there was a lot of rain (not normal) so you were there at a great time. We have been going there for years and love the property. We enjoy walking all over the place and snorkelling (we saw many sea turtles 🐢 this year) We stopped doing the rides because they are definitely not “lazy” 😂 We went to carmines once and never again. People seem to rave about it but it is gross in my opinion. The portions may be big but the sauces taste like out of a bad jar! Thanks for your review.

Two weeks? Did you win the lottery 😉. The weather was definitely great while we were there but we did hear it got bad when we left. Sorry to hear you guys got stuck in it. I'm glad I'm not alone with Carmine's! Where do you recommend eating? I'd love to check out Nobu next time.

Great review! So fun to meet our new Canadian BFFs! As a mom who just went on a girls trip and then took her 2 kids, the Atlantis really does have something for everyone, and those felt like 2 totally different trips!

So glad we met you guys and got to hang out both nights. We definitely should have had a pool or beach day too. I can definitely see how those trips would be completely different but I'm sure you still had a blast. Hopefully we get to see you guys in Vegas in the new year! And hopefully you get to see more of Ontario 🤣

Great information shared here. May I ask which transportation company you used from the airport and back?

I'm glad you found it helpful! We booked directly with Atlantis. I believe you can do this on their website or their app. Then you tell them your travel day/times. It seemed to be the cheapest and safest option and was very easy. When we got to the airport, we went right to the desk and they took us right to the bus. When they dropped us off, they told us what time they'd pick us up on our departure day to ensure we'd be on time for our flight. We actually were probably a bit too early to the airport but better than being late!

@@farrahfarivar4905 I'm so glad! The Coral really isn't that bad. Are there nicer places on the resort? Sure. But we were fine in the Coral and how much time are you spending in the room when you're literally in Paradise? Try and get a corner room like we did. Loved the wraparound balcony. And let me know if you can't find the info for the shuttle bus. I'll see if I can find out more info for you from when we booked but it was around $30ish dollars each person total for both ways so really not that bad. Have an amazing trip! It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. Would love to go back now we know the lay of the land and have more experience under our belts.

Hi, was this the premium queen room or ocean view?

This wasn't the ocean view. Our view was of the marina. We also had a corner room which includes the wrap around balcony. We could see a bit of the ocean from the one side but I wouldn't call it an ocean view. Still a great room though!
