Love my Saratoga vest. I bought the basics to get started with as far as add-ons, and have slowly completed my rig over the last 4-5 months. $500+ dollars later I have no regrets. It's worth every penny. My trim carpenter set up weighs 22lbs. (when not carrying an impact driver of course) That's 22lbs not cutting into my hips anymore, or pulling my pants down. I had the Occidental shoulder harness rig and although nice, does not distribute the weight the way this gear does. Versatility is key. Having my tools dispersed exactly where I want them is a huge advantage. Build quality is hands down superior. Watching these videos does not do justice to having this rig in your hands. Everything is high quality right down to the thread. Anybody on the fence about getting this rig should just pull the trigger. You won't regret it. Great video, thanks for posting.

Cheers, a really honest review. I purchased the rig about 6 months ago and because of the covid situation the waiting list was crazy. I live in UK so you can imagine. I was getting bits of my order delivered every few weeks and import charges of £35 coming through the door for parts of the order. £750 and 6 months later, I'm finally ready to use the rig. I hope it's worth the dollars. I've set mine up similar to yours just opposite sides cos I'm a cack hander (leftie). 👌👍

My only thing with the vest was that there wasn’t a mid sized pouch for finish work. It was either the massive framing bags or that small Hamilton pouch. With the new Martinez pouch I ordered hope to find the sweet spot.

I appreciate the time you took to make this review video. I absolutely love the quality of Atlas 46 products but despise their ability or lack there of to deliver products in a timely manner. Waiting 3+ months to receive an order is ridiculous. Professional tradesmen know time is money and god forbid you need a replacement to your rig… Good luck getting it quickly from Atlas 46 in a timely manner. This means your work flow will suffer and you’ll take longer to complete jobs. The solution is going with a quality product that also delivers to the customers hand quickly. I found Diamondback Tools fill the need. I’m left with putting Diamondback pouches on my Atlas 46 Saratoga vest, not because I wanted to but out of necessity. Atlas 46 could make products made by God himself but it does nobody any good if they have to wait forever to use them.

I used to carry very heavy tool rigs, now I try to go as light as possible. I carry a open tool bag that keeps what I need close by, it does not weigh me down and sweat me to death.

Great fu**ing honest review-pretty shit hot.

I got the vest with screw and nail v2 attachment, tape measure pouch with bendy metal, speed square attachment for when I dont want big double bag. 2x pencil holder attachments, drill holster, hammer holder, safety glass holder, 2x 3 inch weak magnet panels, 2x 3 inch 26lb pull force magnet panels (my favorite), 2x magnet wraps, and 2x the 52 lb magnet shoulder attachment or w.e. I loooooove it all, but here are the cons. Screw and Nail Pouch v2 weights about 1.5 lbs... Drill holster is only needed if you were go be on a roof with change of drill or impact falling. Otherwise just clip to vest. Tape measure pouch is nice for screws or nails, but I just clip tape measure to my vest again... faster and holds it just fine. Speed square attachment is awesome. Light weight for people just cutting all day that don't want to put speed square in back jean pocket. Also holds 4 spots for perm markers and pencils. Hammer holder is amazing. Better than any other companies, BUT I still prefer to just hold hammer with one 2x 26lb pull force magnet. Only time I use hammer holder is if I am on a roof. Love the 2x 26 lb magnet panels and the 1x 52 lb magnetic shoulder panels. They hold any tool up to large hammers just fine. You can jump and it does not drop. I do not own the strong magnetic panel they have which is 2x 52lb pull force in one panel, but if I did, it would LITERALLY not be possible to jump and shake a hammer to fall off of it.

There aren’t a lot of reviews but people must be buying them cause the lead time today is still 3 weeks.

I had major pelvis and leg damage. A hip tool belt makes my pelvis ache after a day. I am going to seriously look at a vest instead.

For me I like going simple just need a spot for speed square tape measure pocket knife pencil and hammer and ofc nails and screws so all that extra dividing stuff in the bag is just in the way and makes the bag more unnecessarily big for me

Finally sold on the product...ive been hesitant for years now just trying to find the best review...thanks bro I now feel comfy with spending a few hundred rather then buying 4 or 5 that im not pleased with...one question though? Do you feel like it keeps a good posture when kneeling ??? I have a bad habit of bending and using my back rather than using my legs...do you find that it restricts you from doing so? Because I think if I had something like this it would remind me to do so

Hey man, nice review.. I like the looks and functionality of this chest rig, but I'm beginning to lean towards the diamondback 701 vest instead, due to its better thought out toolbelt incorporation.. This set-up looks to be geared towards most of the weight being put on the shoulders. But if one does add a belt to share the load, it looks like it might sit a little low on the hips for optimum comfort and function/mobility, which would defeat the whole purpose. But I haven't tried one out yet, so that's pure conjecture at this point. One thing I do know, is that all of these vest systems are designed to be snugged up to one's torso to help distribute weight. Otherwise, what's the point, I might as well stick with my bullshit bags and suspenders.. If you live in an environment with constant varying temps and conditions, or constantly in and out doors, it could prove to be a real pain in the ass readjusting fitment every time you shed or put on layers of clothing.. These rigs aren't cheap. Anyone have experience with both chest rig systems?
