Thanks for posting these vids! Very informative and understandable. I just had a double fire with hammer follow on a fairly new 1911 that had about 900 rounds on it and has not had the trigger group cleaned nor modified. Sure enough, the disco was gritty and sluggish. A takedown, cleaning and lube did solve the problem. There was plenty of overtravel.

Great info! What could possibly be the cause of the hammer locked back and trigger is dead after a shot? This will only happen once in awhile when shooting slow accurate shots.
