How is the recoil feels in hand ? which one shoots softer ? Thanks
@AtlasGunworks2 күн бұрын
The Apollo is very soft. The ports keep the muzzle rise low and lower the pressure.

Apollo feels much better in the hand. Weight distribution is better.

I have a Hyperion with a cheely grip and a VTC serial number on the frame. Curious to see what that means since you said they used to have AGW on there for the Phoenix frames.
@AtlasGunworks12 күн бұрын
VT means we made the frame in Vermont. C is for Cheely grip design on the frame lugs. AGW is the old frames PT made for us before we could make them in house.

When you bringing hard chrome back ?
@AtlasGunworks12 күн бұрын
Hard Chrome is becoming or has become a dying art in the USA. We are unaware of any current Hard Chroming company that can properly do gun parts. Our commitment to quality has us on a hard pause.

Adam, please stop making videos and get my Athena done, joking. Great video, I appreciate the history, I should probably do a couple of videos on my company's history as well. Interesting video Adam. You built me a limited gun in .40 that I received around June, 2015. It was a real beauty and flat shooter. Tri topped, SV Signature Grip, PT SDC frame, KKM Bull Barrel, all coated in NP3. Ended up selling it when I started shooting Open unfortunately. Only thing I would have changed on that gun was the coating--NP3 was too slick to be able to get a good grip on the slide and the serrations were pretty tame. Still buying parts from you guys all these years later.

I'd love to see you do a huge 2011 magazine comparison. Atlas vs Staccato vs SVI Infinity vs Prodigy vs MBX. Hell, throw in the BUL SAS magazines for fun. I know you are probably biased and love your Atlas magazines, but a comparison and rating would still be an interesting thing to look at.
@AtlasGunworks25 күн бұрын
We could do that but the issue with most of the manufactures is that magazines are always changing. Both in design and process. Our mags have only had changes to the follower and base pad design. The tubes have stayed the same. So if we did a comparison the it wouldn't represent the other manufactures past or possibly future mags.
@texasranger2424 күн бұрын
@@AtlasGunworks hmm, that's true. But that's also true for your lineup and every other thing. So if anything, that's a good excuse to do it now and then revisit it in 5 years to see where things went...
@AtlasGunworks24 күн бұрын
The other manufactures are having changes each year. We would have to do one every 6 months to have any accuracy. The issue is that the mags are not date stamped so it would add more general confusion then help. We are trying to help more than confuse the consumers. You will see more vids starting late this year. We are working on new studio space.
@texasranger2425 күн бұрын
I really like how you only do your porting at the front of the barrel. Not just drilling holes everywhere and bleeding gas pressure right behing the chamber where it does very little for recoil reduction...
