I've had a Graf Spee game were i got a shot with 1 turret(other was not on target) and hit 3 citadels on a battleship from 8km absolutely wrecking him. Most lucky shot i've ever had in this game. 24k salvo from a single turret from a T6 cruiser.

Atlanta in WT: I may only have 127mm DP guns and no armour but what does that matter? No armour best armour and I fight DDs mostly anyways. Planes don't stand a chance against my superior AA firepower. Atlanta in WoWs: alright, I'm just gonna sit behind this island annn- wait, why am I spotted? OH SHIT! THATS A BB! I was playing Japan and was using the H8K Emily because of it's double torpedo drops and it's ability to capture objectives. Went in for a dive on a destroyer and an Atlanta pops around the corner. He didn't even fire his main guns at me, but the Bofors made short work lmao.

I remember back when this ship first came out, I got it through the Missions. So worth the Grind. They did ranked mode soon after. I played exclusively in the Graf Spee and let me tell you, it was very funny back then to see Battleships just not respect your armor when angled or your ability to Citadel them at 12km. Though I no longer play WoWS, it is good to see nothing has changed when it comes to the Graf Spee.

The Graff Spee is one of my favorite boats. She maybe she doesn't have a good spread she's not fast but historically she's one of my favorite boats. So after earning my first money with my first job, I bought it. Since then I sometimes play it with secondary Battery Modification 1 or aiming Systems Modification 1

How to Graf Spee? Simple. Stick to attacking merchants and ships that can't fire back. As soon as you encounter ships with guns, no matter if they are destroyers, or light cruisers, run. Run for your life or scuttle your ship, cauz the Spee can't sink any of them.

I sometimes think, when I'm playing, which of the ships in the game would I ever want to take on a round-trip to circle the Earth, and the Spee is the one that tends to come up the most (with the Trento a close second). It just feels like it's the perfect size, able to face the weather while also being large enough so as not to feel like you're trapped in a tin can. Whenever I start a match in it, I just lock the turrets and zoom in to the bow view to imagine I'm heading to some new island.... The stern view's not bad either, tbh.

The guns of this ship are the source of joy and ultimate frustration. That ending perfectly captures why i dislike this ship: You caught that broadside Baltimore at super close range, good aim, yet of your 6 shots, only 2 hit, none of them at the Citadel. Not even a single Penetration hit even.

I remember one time when I faced a tier 6 cleveland, a Furutaka, an Aoba, and one more cruiser (I think a Myoko) all at point blank range in the Graf Spee, and killed them all.
