The Zen tables play very smoothly (lag getting better too), but the graphics are shocking poor on some of them (ep soon on that issue).

I sure hope so! It's super fun regardless, but hopefully it can be made even better.

I like Attack from Mars the best out of all of them so far. Twilight Zone is a close second. The Gottlieb tables were a 100% Fail. Addams Family is cool but the lag is horrendous after playing the other tables.

For $5, you can't beat it. And if/when that lag is dealt with, it'll dang near perfect.

I mean if it were $25. it'd be a different story. But for $5 (and presumably a fix for lag) it's an awful lot of fun.

If it's possible to fix it, you gotta think they will - it'll kill long term success if they don't.

@evilgeniusentertainment true, but we as a community gave them the green light to shovel out broken software. Once they receive our money where is the motivation to fix this issues if people are willing to look the other way.

AtGames has a long history of doing firmware updates/not abandoning their products. Heck, recently the ALP got a firmware upgrade and new available games when, frankly, it's not in AG's best interest to do so (as it would tend to under-cut sales of the 4KP). So if it's possible to fix, they'll fix it. The real question is... IS it possible to do? Clearly not an easy fix, or it would have been done by now....

Agreed and he's wrong about the ssf kit implementation. On the magic pixel tables you can hear every detail, but on AFM it's not great by any means.

If that's the first thing I hear as part of the actual dev plan on the very first table, then before anything else gets done, I want to see the newly designed for 4K table and the Zen table port to 4K table play exactly the same performance-wise before anything else moves forward. When that doesn't happen, we agree that Zen will have X weeks to try and make the port right. If not possible by that date then the agreement is AtGames will have a new agreement worked out and ready to go for Zen to design the Zen tables on the 4K table instead of porting them. The schedules for each table release is pushed back accordingly in the project plans and work begins by AtGames and Zen teams to redesign, dev and QA. AtGames then communicates to all pre-order customers that a defect was found which affected the playability of the Zen tables on the new 4K platform. Attempts to resolve the issue over the last X weeks have proven unsuccessful. While the issue found was minor enough that customers could still receive their product on-time and play the table while we continue working on a fix, we have arrived at the conclusion that doing so doesn't meet the quality standards we set for ourselves, or for our loyal customers. We're sure you feel as we do, that when your product arrives there should be no difference in how the Zen and Non-Zen tables on your 4K table perform, and right now that is not the case. So the tables get delivered a month or two later and it increases the overall project spend by hell, let's say even a few million, or even 5 million after paying Zen. Maybe 10 mill. Are you telling me that the damage done to the AtGames brand, their customer experience, the morale of their teams, team fatigue, overtime for hourly staff, cost of extra staff likely brought on to handle all the customers reaching out to find what's going on AND the many refunds/cancelled orders being requested because they're still shipping new tables with the same problem...is all that combined cost and company hit ultimately less than just delaying the releases and paying Zen to design them on the 4K platform? HELLLLLLLLL NO! It NEVER is! Even once the issue is resolved, it's going to take years to get customer trust back as well as new customers who are interested in future products they have coming, but those new customers will be waiting until others get it first now before they order. Not to mention all the staff dollars and they will have staff leave when all is said and done, which means more money to recruit replacements, interviews, hiring and then fully training them. The overall costs end up being not even close compared to a small delay, paying Zen and having all your customers showing how beautiful the machines are on KZfaq. Instead people are saying on KZfaq that they would love them, if not for the lag! Ugh! Why do companies do this to themselves simply to keep a promised ship date. It's never, ever, ever worth it. AtGames if reading I've been through it many times with companies, that's why I know 😊 I'm also available for hire either to consult or to play your tables on my channel, but wait till the lag is fixed first 😊 Cheers!

For $5, it's great. Flipper delay is but one aspect of how a games plays - LOTS of ways for vpin to suck, from physics to graphics to sound. AFM has minor lag - that's about the only real negative. As I mention at least a 1/2 dozen times in the video, if lag is a deal-breaker, then don't buy until it's fixed. For me, it's a minor issue, particularly at this price point.

Gotta check out ST:TNG soon - it's one of the games I was most looking forward to....

Not totally - it's about a half a beat of lag. Playable for sure, but definitely still there.
