Since you see Jean, Conny and probably Sasha, why that girl with short black hair wouldn't be Mikasa? She's always with them, always fighting together! Since MAPPA is doing the season this time, they've animated to fit more of the art style of the manga. The skull looking titan is a male titan shifter, and the white one with a hammer is actually a female titan shifter, as is the one with the guns on it's back. Jean has longer hair, Connie stayed the same, and everyone else like Sasha, Mikasa, and Armin cut there hair shorter. A big part of Reiner wanting to shoot himself is he feels heavy guilt for what he did in the walls especially to Marco. Over behind the walls the titan shifters revealed were Annie, Zeke, Eren, Bertholt, Reiner, and Ymir; so that makes 6 having been revealed. Leaving 3 and those were shown in the trailer. It was the white one, skull looking one, and gun one. The white is called the Warhammer Titan. The gun one is called The Cart titan. And I can't remember what the one is called.

Reiner has 1-2 years left in this season since there’s been a Timeskip. Eren has about 3 years and some months. There’s been a 4 year Timeskip since most of the show took place), 3 years and some months since they made it to the beach. They made it to the beach in the summer of 851 AC, from when Eren graduates as a cadet to after they make it to the basement it all takes place in 850 AC.

I feel the little kid at the start is Reiner, since we are getting flashbacks on how he got chosen to be the armour titan. Also Eren looks like a shell of himself in that one shot. Like he's tired of it all. S4 looks awesome.

Pro Tip: you can pause a KZfaq video, and then press either comma (,) or period (.) to skip back and forth in time, frame by frame, to see everything in detail, when you're trying to break down a scene or trailer. It's way better than clicking the mouse, or tapping the spacebar, to get lucky by pausing at the right time. Useful for taking screenshots too.

Studio Mappa is relatively young, but they've proven they can handle action in both 2D and 3D; so they shouldn't have a problem picking up where Wit left off.

I love Studio Mappa. They have and are making so many gems. They’re doing 3 of some of the most hyped Anime this year. AOT S4, The God of High School, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Their animation is always fire too. They’re always putting their all into everything they make.

I think the thing that's confusing people about Mikasa even more than the hair is the scarf, in the manga, her scarf's black, not red, and it looks like they're reverting back to manga-canon colours. So Mikasa's scarf is black now, and you just can't see it in that shot because her whole damn outfit is black lol
