Bro… the Egyptian god cards should be better than divine beasts. But it’s the other way around and when these two types of decks meet and battle 90% of the wins goes to divine beasts. Some things I’ll never understand as far as how the cards get used

I’m working on my own 3 Gods deck right now. Dark Magician base, 3 Gods, few God support, and DNA Surgery with Limiter Removal for funsies. So far it’s been pretty consistent. DM Knight of Dragon Magic, and Gods with DNA and Limiter = GGs

Nice, i have a basic Dark Magician Gods Deck too but with True Name, Soul Servant, Illusion of Chaos etc. I'm poor at deck building and usually rely on other creators so i'm happy with it. Basically just Dark Magician with God Slimes , Ancient Chant, True Name and The Gods put in. I don't have things like Slifer or Obelisk Support unfortunately as i need SR/UR's for those.

@@dgeneratio1 mines extremely similar. I have the same cards in my deck with Illusion, Timaeus, etc. I love having True Name mixed with soul servant or dark magical circle. I don’t use Ancient Chant or Revive Sky God since I’m low on URs too at the moment (packs haven’t been good to me lately) I only run 1 Soul Energy Max in the off chance I can just finish my opponents with 4k burn damage, but with 2 DNA Surgery and 2 Limiter Removal I run, you don’t really need a whole lot of God support.

You kind of explained black horn of heaven, but basically it's because it misses timing, since the monster is summoned during resolution, the condition of "when" cannot be met. That's why most cards now adays say if, because, "when" is bad.

2 months late and you prob Alr found a way but the easiest way for me to learn yugioh again and get back into it was duel links I feel it’s more new player friendly I mostly used deck lists from there to try out what I liked then tried to build my own based on the archetypes from the deck list

Im sorry but the guy with scared beasts fumbled idk whos who but the effect says tribute 3 continuous traps and it gains atk and def for each one destroyed its infuriating a bit but its not that hard to use he couldve won first game if he flipped the 3 cards and it'd also have 3000 atk at least prolonging the duel
