True, it's just that Sam could have actually won had he not made such a bad misplay. @18:35, he could've summoned another Kuriboh monster, overlayed two of them to XYZ summon Lyrilusc, go to battle phase and attack Silent Magician with Dark Magician. SeeReax likely wouldn't use the pendulum scale as demonstrated (although he should in this scenario), SeeReax 4400LP -> 3900LP and he summons Silent Magician Lv8. Sam then activates Detonate to pop the Kuriboh and the Pendulum Scale. Then continue to attack Silent Magician Lv8 with Number 54 inflicting 3400 damage to 3900LP -> 500LP, and then attack directly twice with a Lyrilusc that has 400ATK. So 800 damage will bring SeeReax from 500LP -> 0.

Seereax looked relaxed in that episode🧐🤌🏼 I like how they both seems more chilled now. Sam learned to be more honest and direct and Seereax seems to recognise and is more chill because of that. Theyre vibe is getting better each episode💚

Performapal Kuribohble is the corner stone of my favorite "Come back Combo". if you have Kuribohrn and the 2 floating Kuriboh Borthers in GY and performa Kuribo in hand, you can activate Kuribohrn an chain Performa, Performa gets summoned and attacked but it doesnt get destroyed til after Kuribohrn resolves, which triggers the floaters and gets you a Kuriboh monster and spell search. I know its Trash, dies to 100 different cards and requires alot of setup, but it never fails to make me remember my Love for the game when it works. TL;DR I'm sad Sam didnt play Performapal Kuribohble

To be fair Kaiba used magic sanctuary which allows both players to use spells like quickplays. Though that doesn’t excuse the other times they used spells like quickplays.

@@sontheboss Whilst Kaiba did use a spell card that allows spells to be activated as quick play spells this effect was actually useless in the battle city arc. Battle city rules allow people to activate set spell cards as though they are quick play spells if they were set

Yugi did in fact use change of heart in a duel, in the graveyard duel where his friends picked there favorite cards then in their sleep yami bakura played a shadow duel with yugi and everyone was there favorite card. The good bakura chose change of heart and yugi played it.

So last week when it was buster blader vs BLS Sam used cards that weren’t in the BLS arch type to stop Seereax from flood gating him and whined how it was fair because he couldn’t win no other way and this week now when Seereax do the same thing to support the LV monsters Sam is calling him a cheater?! Sam is anarcissist and hypocrite this is why we always rooting for Seereax

Seereax should play chimera but why can't he play illusion knight? both of you played support cards that directly help the monster types they play in the main deck (same did not play a type card but one for one, level specific card) and chimera the illusion beast need an illusion monster.(there are two other illusion monsters in master duel nightmare magician and cornfield coatl) but illusion is directly referenced in the chimera cards. Also i didn't bring up the extra deck because both play non Yugi cards and out of archetype in the extra deck.

illusion knight is absolutely broken that's why. It makes the deck meta level. Only the extra deck is allowed using OP cards like that. Every thing else in the Chimera deck though is fine.

@@fruitybluieblue098 illusion is a monster negate in grave if something is name chimera they mythical beast. Coatl is a target negate. These cards don't make the deck meta at all. Only a side engine in some fusion decks like branded. This turns off the otk function of the chimera archetype. The only thing the deck does without illusion is a hand loop for 1, or fodder for link summons.

@@fruitybluieblue098 I think it's a bit disingenuous if the whole point of the series is to determine which archetype is the best. If you have to purposefully nerf chimera to the point where it can't utilize it's pure engine, then it really feels like the deck isn't able to show off its potential. If chimera really is the strongest archetype with its illusion support, shouldn't the series reflect upon that?

@@SKDracula I think I get your argument, but I don’t agree. Even if it’s obvious that chimera is the strongest deck overall doesn’t even mean that it’s guaranteed to win. Deion and Sam are capable of misplaying each other, outplaying each other, or teching in cards like Sam did with forbidden droplet against Deion’s Buster Blader deck. In the end, it’s still a game of skill and luck, just as much as it is about card power. I personally feel like it would be really interesting to see a David vs. Goliath slug fest where another archetype like magnet warriors is somehow able to take a win or two off against chimera. If a deck has to be nerfed to make things equitable, it takes away from the authenticity of which deck really is the strongest right now.
