it looks like either of 2 things 1: the bike is trying to leap forward off the dyno under power, but the restraints on the bike make it get pushed into the ground or 2: Some gp bikes have counter rotating cranks. This means that the crank on the bike spins in a way where its inertia works agaisnt wheelie-ing unlike a normal bike, which helps it squat a little under acceleration

For all who asked about the clutch ... he is NOT using a clutch to shift ... it has a quickshifter / you just stay pinned and shift up

He is shifting it at the foot lever. I'm sure it has a "quick shifter" and "auto blipper" for the shifting. The electronics are probably around $50k if not more with software and paying a guy to keep it all running correctly. The firing order was changed by regrinding the crankshaft.

If you give it a zip on the gas it doesn't block. I never downshift with the clutch, just clip the throttle - That easy.

Ifr there is a Power Commander for that filter or that exhaust and for your bike it is enough to instal a Power Commander , but if there isn't you need to remap ECU.

Just do the opposite of upshift without clutch: gently press the gear lever and then open throttle to match revs and it should pop into gear smoothly. If I can do it on a road bike, he can surely do it on racing bike.

Gerardo Samuel Power 220, but the motogp's has got more than 250cv. Torque i dont know but it will be around 110/170 Nm depends RPM. RPM it will be around 18000/20000 and max speed...more o less 340,350..In Muguello I have seen 361 km/h!

Odd fire engine, "can't tell you how we did it". It's easy to work out the firing intervals from an audio recording so how much of a secret could it be?

2 cylinder fire together, the rest are independent, so technically it's a 4 cylinder but fire like 3 cylinder engine, CMIIW

+Craig Buckingham there are several way to achieve an odd fire and it isn't simple, it requires a lot of work and other innovations to steady the crank as an odd fire is out of balance. It isn't easy to do.

galaxything You didn't understand my post. I said it was easy to determine the firing order from an audio recording. So the "secret" part of it was quite an amusing statement. I was not talking about how to engineer an "odd fire" engine.

Craig Buckingham but that's what the guy in the video was saying, it's obviously from the audio it's an odd fire engine added with the fact he tells you it's an odd fire engine, but he says he can't say how they did it. You can't tell from an audio how an odd fire engine was engineered, you can only hear that it is an odd fire engine.

galaxything It's all a bit of chest beating to say, "look at us, aren't we smart". When really it's nothing special to a mechanical engineer. Only to the uninformed. It's a bit of gloating and self promotion. When HRC and Doohan turned up with the "big bang" motor it took only about two rounds for the other teams to do the same thing. Nothing secret going on here.

Love the bike ,it sounds fantastic but I dont think that Blake Young is a good choice for a rider.He just doesnt seem to be hungry enough . Hes not that hot of a property . Yosh. gave him the axe for a good reason .

This is not a true motogp machine. For example the 2018 Ducati Desmo GP18 had nearly 320 horsepower at the crank
