I was born & raised in Winchester KY & Daniel Boone National Forest started right on the edge of our town. Those woods were always creepy to me & I've heard many stories of scary things lurking in those woods & in the Boonesboro River that runs through them. Like the story about the catfish that lays right below the dam & is bigger than a Volkswagen Beetle & can swallow a man whole!!

I lived in the part of the forest thirty min outside of Morehead around cave run lake but still like a twenty min drive away for a month in 2019, had a great time. Though at first I did go to a portion gurney south outside berea. I set up my camp and had left my phone charging in my car about a ten min walk away. When i went back to collect the phone and secure my car, everything was normal except for my phone cable missing. Not sure what may have occurred, but I went and packed up everything and went north an hour or however far it is to where I stayed for a month. No idea what occurred at that first location but it did creep me out and I never found that cable so something definitely took it. Just strange that's the only thing that was missing. Place I ended up staying was awesome though, was near tater knob firewatch tower

I lived in the DBNF for most my teens, and my mom and I had an unexplainable encounter driving to town one night. Mysterious blue orbs of light followed our car. There are no street lights, homes, or anything where this happened. Creepy stuff.

Aaahhh!! One of mine and my families favorite places to go hiking and kayaking!! We’ve been planning to go the past 2 weekends but vehicle problems and weather stopped us both times. So, I’m gonna listen to these scary stories, and make my kids listen too, before we go next weekend!! 😈😁❤

I’m from Connecticut and have hit trails in Barkhamsted. I never seen anything but I will say it was definitely unsettling and I felt on edge .

When i heard "Day Ridge Monster", i knew it was McCreary County (KY), my hometown, at the furthest edge of the DBNF. There's a park about 15 minutes north of Day Ridge called Alpine. It's part of the USFS and the DBNF Stearns Ranger District. I used to park there along an old slab of the original US-27, which runs through the DBNF. I would back my tractor trailer in and curl up for 10 hours. Sometimes, id hear all kinds of weird noises. Other rimes, I'd hear nothing but occasional traffic on 27. My dashcam caught some odd stuff whilst i was parked there.

I've been going to the Daniel Boone off of 192 near London, I've had weird feelings here and there but in the 1000s of hours I've been there never seen anything wacky

I’d rather have the weird creepy feelings than seeing something nightmarish but unfortunately I’ve seen plenty if you ever want to hear some of them don’t hesitate to ask! @@jessicadanna5206 I accept that there may be unnatural things I just hope the conventional knowledge on what hurts or repels them is accurate. Homemade rounds with salt,silver, and white ash and i never enter the forest unarmed. Honestly can't say I'm truly convinced that truly dangerous supernatural things exist but I like to be prepared for any eventuality.

It could even be a story about an Angel stopping a demonic attack.

I like to listen to Darkness Prevails when I want to hear about other mythologies / religious beliefs (Native Americans, and so on), and creepy work stories. But I'm sure there are "Angels", "devine entities", "Angel vs. Demon"- channels, just like you said. 😊

I, for one, would love to hear stories about Biblically accurate angels on this channel. Many angels are probably more terrifying to behold than any demon.

😮😃i lived in barkhamstead, also known as Winstead CT for a few years! Lmao 🤣 the men very well may have been doing drugs..there are alot of drug users in the area...i mean, some of that stuff will eff up your face...lol. as far as the woman screaming i remember hearing a story of these guys tying up these girls and blindfolded them, walking them into the woods chasing them... Idk the rest of the story but definitely effed up stuff happens in that area of CT.. something in the water is what my friend was just saying today coincidentally 😅

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 I'm ngl I use to LOVE these stories, but after Jesus rescued me from darkness I am not pulled to them as much, however I feel like if I was listening to these (and any other creepy story I could find) then alot of other unbeliever will be listening as well, so I find it helpful to remind them that Jesus is Lord whenever possible 💯 as hopefully God will use my messages to pull some people from darkness to light the same way he saved me, in Jesus name
