I am 81 years old and I have a sister that got mad at my side of the family. After about a year of this, I decided that there was nothing I could do, to help the situation. I say my prays every night and hope someday things will change. Don't feel bad - there is one in a lot of families. I'm sure many people will drop you a note that will help you feel better.

I have a twin who was never the same when I got married and moved around the state with my hubs. When my mom was passing I said hello to her and gave her a hug and that's the last time I saw her. I don't need her toxic attitude life is so short! I'm 64 now and life is sweet with out DRAMA IN IT! Love ya Roxy!

Roxanne, SO,SO,SO Sorry you are experiencing this issue with your sister. I had a similar one with my 2nd oldest sister. Her last words were" You can't pick your family but, you can pick your friends." I feel that is one of the most backwards group of words ever said to me. 20 years later she still has this attitude. My heart goes out to you and we can't control life. I just wish we were kids when she said that. Never hurt a female in my life but she might have qualified to be the 1st. Hi you guys ..We were a little worried about ya’ll..,Thank goodness ur home safe and sound..so glad you had a great trip!!! Sorry about your sister… I had a falling out with my half sister 2 yrs ago..she has always resented me because , I got married and was until we divorced. 22 yrs together 3 kids and now 5 grandkids..anyway this argument was over my mom..and she has been sick and has Dementia and Alzheimer’s and she doesn’t know the things you have to do take care of her .. she has always lived with her rent free ..in my moms state of mind she pulled a fast one and managed to have mom sign over her house .. it’s paid for…. To make a long story short we have been on the outs for 2 yrs now and my poor mother is probably suffering because of ignorance .. Life’s To Short ..Be Happy that God Blessed you with a wonderful life!! One day at a time!!

He doesn't get along with my other 2 brothers either. I gave him a chance to communicate with me. You gave your sister a chance to communicate with you. That's all you can do. Our library in Georgetown, TX, has Purple Heart 💜 parking. First time I ever saw it. My late father was in WWII and a Purple Heart 💜 and Bronze Star 🌟 recipient. He would have loved the fact that our veterans were recognized and were able to park near the entrance.
