Making a SUPER easy Leather Notebook Cover

Hello all and thank you so much for stopping by, subscribing and liking this video. I got this idea off of a post I saw on Instagram and thought it would be a cool project video.
This project is perfect for beginners or the seasoned leather crafter. You don't need a ton of material and it gives you plenty of room to go crazy with artwork and designs.

I MAKE NO $$$ FROM THIS NOTEBOOK
I used a piece of 5-6oz veg tan lined with 3-4oz but you could easily use 8-9oz or 10oz and forego the liner, gluing, and stitching

If i may make a suggestion. I currently have a headache and i like to watch leather asmr type videos to just zone out and watch someone create... You don't have to speed it up so much we do enjoy watching the process.. and speeding it up can actually make you noshis when watching. Just something to consider

I know you free hand your vine work and everything but what about things like the texas on this one and the indian headdress in a couple other videos? Do you free hand those or do you find those online and resize? If it’s the second, could you do a video on how you find the images and resize? Thanks! You do great work!

Thanks soo much for the support. As far as the Texas, indian headdress, and other art it depends on the request. For the texas state, because I do a ton of them I made poster board templates of the state in all different sizes so that I can easily trace them out on the leather. If a client wants a particular piece of work I definitely will either trace it or go find free vectors that may be similar and throw my twist into it. Great video idea.

Im dealing with a upper respiratory infection and its pretty hard on my lungs right now. I was hoping this project would be pretty self explanatory. Hopefully will get my voice back soon
