My fiancé took his life four months ago after he was struggling with his mental health and his drug addiction. He didn’t want to go to rehab because he said that It didn’t work. He had no family friends or anybody only me and he needed more then that. I will always blame myself for what happened to him. I just feel like I could have done more to save him. I saved him with his first attempt but his second one I couldn’t save him.

You couldnt stop him..he was determined to ease his restlessness of soul..however..without the Mird Jesus as our Saviour & Lord then even in eternity there will be no rest. Are you going to let this determine your life ahead..do you want to carry the blame or would you like to gine it all to Jesus..Matthew 11:28. I speak as one who knows..my youngest sister after years of several attempts finally after not hwtting off medications succumbed tragically at her own hands then 8 years later my dad with COPD jumped off a wharf early hours of a bleak n morning. It wasnt my fault even though theyd both talked of it. I know that & i dont want you wasting your energy on lying torments..thats the way of the devil..keep us bound. Go enjoy life..have coffees..find Jesus through this time. Read olease: John 1:1-15; Colossians 1:12-18 & Genesis 1 & 2. Jesus Christ idms Lord & God. Cry out to Him..look what He did for us on the cross!

Sweetie, please don’t blame yourself. I know it’s easier said than done. I know this because the same thing happened to me back in 2008. My fiancé killed himself as well. It’s not your fault. What I learned through counseling is, weather it was now, five months from now, five years from now, they still would have done this. You WILL get through this. It might not seem like it right now, but you will. I remember sitting on my grandmas couch that night when the chaplain came to see me and I said “my life will never be the same, I will never be happy again”. And yes, your life will never be the same, but you WILL be happy again and there will come a time where you notice you didn’t think about it all day, and then a few days go by and then all the sudden you’re living your life. And this isn’t because you forgot about him. Here I am now, 15 years later. I just met the nicest man I’ve ever known, I’m happier than ever. I’m just telling you this because I know how you feel right now. And even these words won’t help much, but I hope they give you some hope for the future. Because I was excatky where you are 15 years ago, and here I am. I will keep you in my thoughts. It will be ok, I promise. Hugs!!

thanks for sharing your journey... many who attempt suicide end up maiming themselves. i shot myself in the head the day after my 22nd birthday and Jesus miraculously saved my life, which led me to know Him. God bless you!

@@elainebraindrain3174 please let me know you're okay precious. i've subbed to your channel and look forward to seeing you feeling better. lack of family support was a major contributing factor to my attempt. now @50 yrs later, they're still so toxic i've been going through legal proceedings to dissolve any association with them, and have had to go absolutely no contact with them. with being so broken, one of the things that helped most was learning who God says i am. and with giving my life to God, my life is no longer mine to take, but will be his decision. God is with you and wants to bless you. you are precious to Him, and He created you for a special purpose. be blessed darling.

@@elainebraindrain3174 Please do not do it, Elaine! You matter! There are people that can help you. Keep seeking help until you find something that works for you to feel better. Remember the thoughts we have in depression are distorted thoughts and not real. With the right counseling and medication, you can begin to feel better. It is really possible. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) was something that helped my depression and anxiety.

I do not believe a person committing suicide causes him/her to go to hell. According to God’s Word, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, you will be saved. And if a person confesses and believes, it is not negated when a person takes his/her life. Of course, it is not Gods will that a person commit suicide, God does have a path of healing for each person.

I think it has something to do with, you can't ask for forgiveness since you died, but that doesn’t make sense because we all have sin every day, but that doesn’t keep us from heaven. No sin is worse than another. My father committed suicide and it was said if he was in his right mind, he's in hell. Who is in their right mind when they commit suicide? Also, only God knows the condition of ones heart, and it's also said the first will be last the last will be first.

This is a mental disease. Animal hoarding doesn’t ever stop. Those poor animals. Many of reptiles appeared to have a life threatening calcium deficiency. The poor goat needed his horns needed cut way way down as well as it’s feet trimmed. That’s why he acted that way. He was so so confused and scared. I hope he got a sanctuary with grass. He should have a life time ban of owning animals. I too have been abused my entire life so I understand how these animals feel. They don’t know what they did wrong. Neither do I for that fact.

So..praise God..He saved you to know the truth! You might have been more angry at yourself..& as you say..no fellowship, no word going into you to renew your mind stunts our growth. Some people that go to church are so rude. Once when I was at church a lady who approached me to shake my hand, squeezed my hand so hard and would not let go untill I thought my knees would buckle after that I never wanted to go to church again. Trust me you will go to heaven ❤ not all church people are good or have any sense.

Sorry, but I don’t believe it’s down to God who decides to take a life. That’s like saying God has decided children and adults being murdered was his choice
@mamatica7
@mamatica7 2 ай бұрын
Yes, it is His choice. He gives some people 3 seconds to live, others hundreds of years. I remember from the Bible when one gathered so much harvest that there was no place to put it and he thought that it was done, now he will live only to enjoy life, and God tells him that he is a naive person because that night he will demand his soul, and others will eat its harvest. Crime is not God's choice, but when he gives life to the one who is going to be killed, he knows that he will be killed. Should he stop giving him life because he will be killed? Should he stop giving life to the criminal? Wouldn't this mean that our existence would be conditioned by whether or not we do what He wants? There is another case in the Bible where God tells a king not to go to war because he will be killed, but he still goes and is killed. Not the choice of God, but the choice of the king to ignore God.

I'll bet you're not a parent. As a parent you do not have the power to make life a Heaven for your child. You cannot protect him from all the evils of the earth, even if you wanted to. They took her from counselor to counselor, allowed her a lot. They punished her only to make her more responsible, she was a teenager. As a teenager you definitely don't make the best choices. The church is very important, it is a support system, maybe not perfect, but certainly better than any other organization.
