made an extended version of the intro theme of atypical, just for fun. i am in no way making money from this, nor am i claiming the music as my own. i really like this piece and it sucks that there's no official version up.

The main reason I love this series is because there's no one in this Atypical universe who have malice, ulterior motives or evil in their heart. Any mistakes they do is purely from the point of them being human. That they have both dark and bright sides in them. And they are aware of their mistakes, they are prepared to face the consequences, feel sorry for it and make corrections. This series is just pure quality writing and acting all around.

This is probably one of my favorite television series. I have watched shows like Gossip Girl and Greys Anatomy, but the thing is, I don’t relate to those shows as much as I do to Atypical. Honestly, I feel a connection to every single character on this show. I feel like I can relate to the characters one way or another. I love the realistic-ness of this show. Truly. Whenever I watch this show for comfort it makes me happy. the humor, love, sadness, heartbreak, and reality of this show is unreal and balanced. If you are going to watch it, DO IT. This is such a good show.

I’m here because I ran into an article on Facebook about a blonde penguin 🐧 being discovered in Antarctica 🇦🇶 and this show is so sweet that whenever I see anything that has to do with penguins I think about Atypical.

The most underrated show of all time, wish we got another season but it honestly ends perfect with the S4 Finale. Was super late to start watching Atypical but so glad I did, one of my favorite shows ever. Can't wait to re-watch in a few weeks.

Watching this show was so incredible. It’s become a comfort show for me, because it makes me cheer up while the show still also feels realistic. Man its hard to even describe how much i love this show. It’s so wholesome and makes me laugh and cry. The ending of season two at graduation makes me so emotional still even though I’ve watched the show 4 times. I rewatched this after a breakup recently and it just gave me so much comfort and the show honestly helps me appreciate my friendships and family more. I just love this show so much omg

I’m autistic and I’ve heard other autistic people criticising the show and whilst I agree we don’t need another straight white man with an allistic actor on screen I still really liked the show. It’s extremely relatable despite the many things it gets wrong and does actually genuinely help me understand my own autism better as someone who’s been masking and ignoring my sensory issues and needs and all that my whole life and is only recently diagnosed. Plus it’s a good show with good characters and good story lines. And I really like the intro and other songs on the soundtrack. It’s so uplifting and sweet. Really makes me happier when I hear it

I love the little things in this intro. The sound effects used as a sort of percussion and also that it’s 7/4 time signature, making it different that what we’re normally used to but still beautiful. Idk if that was intentional tho or if the artist just wanted to make it 7/4 for no real reason lol

I came to write that, but you already did. I like to think that the composer wanted to make the piece in an odd time signature, just to demonstrate that odd = supercool. Coincidence...? Maybe, or maybe not.

Throughout the seasons they used this same chord progression in at least a dozen ways, reflecting different moods and speaking to the audience. We can all name the actors and some of us the writers but massive respect to the sound engineers who quietly and skillfully breathe life and character into the show. Crushed it with this.

Ever since I heard those sweet chords of this in season 1 episode 3, I really wanted to have the soundtrack of it. Then I see it was implemented in various parts in the later seasons. I'm on season 3 and this is still great to hear. It's a shame this is not an official soundtrack. Thank you for uploading this! EDIT: The same chords are played at the end of season 4! I love this!
