Wire Wrapping Time Lapse Tutorial - Light of September Bracelet

6 жыл бұрынJust in time for September, this sapphire bracelet is fit for royalty. Beautiful flowing swirls and loops, the fine silver wire and gemstone shimmer in even low lighting.
This Time lapse video will show you my process, from beginning to end, so you can see how I weave and shape my wires, set my stone, and secure my ends.
I used:
6.5 inches of 13g sterling silver
12 inches, and 10 inches 18g Fine silver
2 feet, 14 inches of 28g sterling silver
3mm, 2.5mm, and 2mm silver beads
14mm sapphire faceted Pear briolette

This piece is absolutely BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! At first glance of the tiny thumbnail pic to your video (or whatever it's called), I thought it was a ring with stacked treble clefs on each side of the stone and that's what got my attention and although it's not treble clefs or a ring, I am so happy to have seen this. I've never tried wire wrapping but I really enjoyed your video. On this end if it, it's like watching magic happen right before my eyes but I know you put a lot of work into creating the bracelet and the video. You have amazing skills. Thank you for sharing them! ☺

You actually revealed the technique which many wire makers are keeping as a secret or selling as a tutorial. I spend hours and days looking at photos of similar jewelry trying to figure out how those pieces were made and I managed to figure it out :), it was actually much easier than I thought and I thought that you first need torch and annealing the wire to make it softer. Than I thought that you must need round pliers for every little curve that you make, while most of the work is done by hands, just like you are doing. Thank you for this, I enjoyed watching, you are very talented.
