I'm going to be a fairy for Halloween! I filmed the creation of all parts of my costume for your inspiration and pleasure! Here is how I made my headdress tiara thing!
To start, the base wire is 14g galvanized steel wire, left over from my wings. I then added copper wire and secured a swarovski rivoli crystal in Heliotrope color.
I hope you enjoy my video! Please subscribe, if you aren't already, and stay on top of the latest videos!

I just wanted to thank you for this! You’re one of the few people who actually show how to do this. Many other videos were way to hard to follow/see what was happening and/or was just a video of them doing it without explaining.

I'll try to keep this short, but I am EXCITED: so, I've been doing wirework (just for funsies) for a little over a year, primarily pendants (I don't sell, but I do give away). Last night I was following a tut from someone else when all of a sudden all I could see in the piece was the beginning of a circlet, which I've never, ever attempted before. Anyway, that prompted me to search for circlet tuts this morning, and this 1 here is the very 1st 1 I watched, which is where the excitement comes into play: YOU ARE BEYOND AMAZING! The way you go through this tutorial, with the little extra bonus tips along the way ~ just YES. I can't wait to watch more of your channel, so buh-bye!! 😘

Thank you so much for the detailed descriptions during the tutorial. Knowing exactly what you got, how much you got, and what you did to it really helped.

I have recently really wanted to start making crowns, and this is the first video that caught my eye! I’ve been wire wrapping pendants for a while but never with this style! I’m super excited to get the materials for this and give it a try! Love all the contrasts, and I followed along perfectly with the video, wire colors, and voice over! Thank you! Thank you! Best wishes to you love! You have a true gift! 🙏🏾❤️❤️

I love this so much! I'm definitely going to make one because it would go along perfectly with a purple cape/cloak thing I sewed. My mom is just starting to get into wire wrapping and this tutorial is great so even a beginner could follow along. I'm definitely going to check out some more if your work, this is simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing the tutorial so I can make it!

Hi loved your video I was just wondering if you considered using some kind of a clamp to hold the wire while you work with it? .Something small like a scissor clamp or maybe a gator clamp. just to free up your hands
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir 4 жыл бұрын
When I got started a long time ago, I did try using clamps, but I found them heavy and in the way. I also tried taping, weaving wires, too, which wasn't as bad, but in the end, I still just prefer to deal with them. I know some people who swear by using tape or clamps! It just isn't for me personally.

I would like to make this for a friend as a present with your permission. I normally would just change it to where it looks nothing like yours but using your idea to get started. But this comes out at me as her. I of course let her know the original creator, that is if I have your permission.

Can this be done with thin wire and a rock either way ima try this then if it is decent then I will get the right materials and do it again. By the way nice vid everyone usually does a time lapse instead of explaining like u do. I will give up dates on how it is going.

I actually shaped it to have tension around my fat head, lol, so it felt secure. But in others I have made, I just wire wrapped 2 small metal hair combs on the ends. I found them through an etsy search, in a pack of 6!

Mam great work.....but can u please tell how do u seal the jewellery so that it doesn't get tarnish..( copper one)
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I actually don't seal my pieces, because they all eventually chip or flake off, and it looks bad when that happens. I just give them a good polish, and recommend simple polishing cloths to my customers. It just takes a quick swipe and they are restored!

Did you put this in your tumbler to polish it? Or did you just use a cloth by hand since there is a crystal?
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir 6 жыл бұрын
You would be surprised at how tough swarovski crystals are, most can handle a 30 minute run through a tumbler, even though it generally inst recommended. However, this was too big to fit in my tumbler, so I just hand polished it!

while the instructions are good i wish you listed the wire gauges and lengths in the description so i am not having to skim through the video for knowing what gauges and length of wire to get. as i am going to be making this using .999 fine silver wire, onyx beads, and a 13.65 ct cuperite. also if using onyx beads 26 gauge is too thick to go through the bead twice so i had to go for a even thinner gauge. the instructions them selves however are very easy to follow

What do you mean by oxidation?
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir
@AubreyBouck_Brandavir 4 жыл бұрын
It's a chemical reaction between oxygen and the metal, it causes a color change that is only on the surface. Like how a brass or copper ring will color your skin green! It washes off easily, and isn't harmful!
