In January 2006 that the Palestinian territories held what turned out to be their last parliamentary elections. Hamas won a bare plurality of votes (44 percent to the more moderate Fatah party’s 41 percent). In June 2007, Hamas started murdering Fatah members, and, in the end, took total control of the Gaza Strip. Those who weren’t killed fled to the West Bank, and the territories have remained split ever since.

NZ Govt is complicit in gen.0.cyde. In every single release, the NZ Govt condemns kHamas but has not once condemned Izrael for its disgusting, deliberate sl@wter of 40000+ (with at least 70% being children and women). NZ Govt says kHamas must release all hostages but never mentions the thousands of women and children held indefinitely in military detainment without charge, by Izrael, or the detainees who are being tortured and deliberately maimed, or the mass graves, with patients and medics in scrubs who are bound and sh0t in the back of the head. Judith Collins is still lying about babies being murdered and women being raped and mutilated, also. A recent international, israeli-sanctioned report confirms there is NO forensic evidence of any sexual assaults on 10/7, as I'm sure Judith knows, also. Very sadly 2 babies died on that day - a 10 month old baby, Mila Cohen, was accidentally shot (by either kHamas or the IDF) and another lady lost her baby in vitro, as she was also shot - she didn't get named, just referred to as "bedouin woman" cos she is bedouin (along with Palestinians, the zyonyst regime doesn't really rate them as being anything than "human animal"). Judith Collins deliberately lied about the Houths calling them "pirates" who've been "doing it for years" and denied their publicly-stated purpose for their blockade on Izraeli-related shipping... And, nek minute we're assisting USA and UK to bomb mainland Yemen and now we're joining AUKUS (or, is it NATO)... I think NZ has backed the wrong horse with the global power struggle😎😂

Hopefully, we still have the right to organize and take part in protests in New Zealand. I would want to hear more from these students about what they are protesting about before agreeing with them or disagreeing with them. This clip was not enough to make a judgement about that. I would hope they are mounting a protest about the thousands of innocent civilians dying in Gaza and not just a one-sided demonstration about which side is right and which side is wrong. Right and wrong have no importance in the current situation where thousands of innocent children are dying. Young people are our conscience so if this is a humanitarian protest then they have my support.
