To much of a target on your back especially in Australian survivor, haven't watched American survivor in awhile but sucks the auction isn't a thing any more since that advantage fiasco a few seasons back

@@mayechkathis is kinda season specific, mild spoilers: Nick was the main player on the bottom at that point but the whole reason he was on the bottom was cuz he lied about anadvantage. He didn’t wanna make people trust him less, also this auction was directly after the merge so the game was very open

A lot of these players were recruits and didn’t really know the game, also there’s no use putting a target on your back just to get an idol if you’re already in a good position

Jasper Kelly the maine thing to look at are the Buffa the first one is at 0:29 with a shot of one player (sorry idk her name) and second is at 0:31 with the shot of the entire tribe which at the time was both tribes becuase in this shot it was before they merge and they have the old buffs on. I’m sure there are other examples of this throughout the auction but those are the main two I spotted

Way different to America survivor but for the good, it sucks that after that advantage fiasco when Tony won they stopped doing auctions on American survivor

They also stopped it because of Shirin figuring out the Letters from Home thing

It was just after merge so nobody wanted that target when the game was so open

getting some form of energy/comfort could be the thing that wins you 1mill instead of 500...

Aus version is very good there are def bad seasons and bad formats but this particular season had a very complex and volatile pre merge.

This season wasn’t the best but the finale was super satisfying
