Survivor's Biggest Moves/Blindsides that failed in spectacular fashion.
All Rights to CBS and Survivor.

List:
#10: Survivor Caramoan: Andrea. With an immunity idol in her pocket, Andrea attempted to blindside her biggest ally, Brenda. Brenda got wind of Andrea's plan and her alliance turned on her, taking her out with her idol.
#9: Survivor Second Chance: Fishbach. The entire game, Fishbach despised Joe and wanted him out. Joe finally didn't win immunity and Fishbach decided to play his secret advantage, which was the first ever steal-a-vote in Survivor. Fishbach stole Joe's vote, voted for Joe but was still blindsided by part of his alliance.
#8: Survivor Gabon: Randy. Randy's allies had been taken out in Marcus and Charlie, and he decided to make camp terrible for everyone else to receive votes, and counting on Bob having the hidden immunity idol. Bob had made a fake idol, and Sugar convinced Bob to give it to Randy, and Randy's plan backfired on him.
#7: Heroes vs Villains: JT. Nobody on Heroes vs Villains had seen Russell play before, and JT was adamant that Russell was good. With a small amount of cross-tribal communication, JT gave Russell his idol to 'save' him from the women on the Villains tribe. JT's idol was then used against him from Parvati to block out Sandra and Jerri's votes, and JT went home.
#6: Survivor 42: Drea. Omar had told Mike about Drea's 'Knowledge is Power' advantage, so Mike gave his idol to someone else to hold on to so Drea couldn't steal it. Drea then used her extra vote to attempt to get out Mike, but she didn't have the numbers to pull off the blindside.
#5: Game Changers: Cirie/Michaela. Sarah had given Cirie her steal-a-vote advantage as a sign of trust, but Cirie used it against Sarah to show her that Tai was being a rat in the game. Cirie couldn't use the advantage herself, and Sarah rallied the numbers to eliminate Michaela; Cirie's closest ally.
#4: David vs Goliath: Gabby. Gabby had done all of her moves with Christian in the game, her closest ally. She then decided to try and take out Christian to make moves of her own to get to the end. Gabby, taking a leap of faith couldn't trust her newfound allies who told Christian about the move, he first didn't believe them but then used his idol to take cancel out his votes, and Gabby was blindsided.
#3: Winners at War: Sandra. Sandra had an idol that could only be used at their next tribal council. Feeling safe, she wanted to make a big move to get out one of the guys, so she gave her idol to Denise. Denise already had a second idol, gave her idol to Jeremy as a sign of trust, and used her idol to take out Sandra.
#2: Micronesia: Erik. Erik continuously won individual immunity as he was the target of the Black Widow Brigade alliance. Feeling guilty about his past votes, the Black Widow Brigade hatched a plan to guilt Erik into giving up immunity and being in their good graces once again.
#1: Second Chance: Kimmi. Feeling on the bottom of her alliance, Kimmi decided to flip and side with Keith and Wentworth in the Final 6. Once Wentworth and Jeremy played their idols, there was another tie between Tasha and Kimmi. The group then had to decide to send Tasha, Kieth or Kimmi home, which lead to her demise. Had she flipped one vote sooner, she may have been in the final 3.

i love how Russell winks at Jerry when her name is read as if to say, "you're welcome" like he had ANYTHING to do with saving her with the immunity idol & it wasn't 100% Parvarti's genius execution that saved Jerry. Classic Russell...

Parv's idol play on HvV is top tier and that move solidified her as one of the greatest players of survivor history.

It would've been impressive if she only played it on Jerri. As it stands it's just okay. Honestly that idol play is really overrated.

@@PintheDog It’s overrated because it was obvious and a waste of an idol. How did Parvati not realise that the Heroes weren’t gonna target Sandra? Why did she give the idol to Sandra??

@@abhainnxv1554 _We_ knew that. _Parvati_ didn't know. All that she was told by Amanda was that it would be Sandra or Jerri. So she had to take the chance. Again, sit down, boy. You don't know what you're talking about.

@@PintheDog What do you mean "She was told by Amanda was that it would be Sandra or Jerri" Amanda fucking lied to her face. With a terrible poker face that literally anyone could see through. Anyway, you're still missing my point is that it's overrated because it was really obvious. The daring impressive move would be to sniff out that Sandra was also safe (which there was plenty of reason to believe, such as Rupert being on the Heroes tribe as well as the worry that Sandra was gonna flip on them anyway) and only play it on Jerri, thus also keeping her 2nd idol a secret to avoid hurting her relationship with Russell. Also, no need to be a condescending prick. We're talking about a game here.

@@AsraliaX2 Yeah she should've read more carefully but I don't think the non-transferable rule should exist in the first place, and if it's going to exist then Sarah shouldn't have been able to give her the advantage in the first place. It's just bad game design and I feel like it would've fooled almost any player

@@Moriahsmith-ww7bj so after getting voted out drea basically made a bunch of rumors about Omar using his father’s death to his advantage in the game and calling him a racist and leading the charge to take out every black player left in the game witch is ridiculous

Christian's acting like no one told him he will be blindsided that night was funny. Davey told him everyone was writing his name. MIke did the smart move putting Gabby's name because another David should be voted out.

After seeing the episode with Erik being fooled by cerie, I think if she just kept her word and go on with the plan that he told Erik, and take out parv, I think she have won that season.

Drea had such a great exit. I loved the cast of 42, I hope we get more casts like that! The bubbly Maryanne being no one else but herself! Drea being very intelligent and sneaky, but very composed. Jonathan being a meathead powerhouse challenge beast, Mike being the sensible father figure… I could go on! An amazing cast and probably my favorite of modern survivor

Drea defamed the living hell out of Omar so he couldn't win the million dollars, all because he was a better player and blindsided her. I was a fan of hers when 42 was airing too, her being a vile person was the real blindside.

Hated 42. I did not like how Maryanne decided to vote someone simply because she felt someone white had to go. Survivors getting voted out has never been about race. Threats are voted out. The show rarely had ethnic diversity and she is right but nothing can be done about the past. The CBS mandate ensures ethnic diversity in the new era. Maryanne also is a goofball.

Denise taking out Sandra in WaW is still to this day one of my favorite moves of all time. Everything about it is pure perfection. 👏👏🔥🔥😭

@@TheChamp33well it did buy her time. She got to f6. She outlasted Kim and Jeremy. Had she voted out Tony or Kim, she could have been targeted earlier in the merge.

Some of my nominations: The four horsemen (actually 3) attempting to use the idol. One of the funniest ones. They went from very cocky that they fooled everyone to absolutely devastated. The one who played the idol was the only one not to have votes on him lol. James trying to throw the challenge in China, but Denise being unable to eat the food, forcing James to win the challenge lol. Kenny attempting to blindside Matty in Gabon. Kenny was controlling the game, but his ego made him want to vote every person out. Turns out they didn't have the numbers and he lost his alliance by trying to betray them. Malcolm's double idol play. The whole idea was to shake up the game. However, he ruined the whole thing by announcing to everyone his whole alliance was voting for Phillip, giving no one else a reason to change their vote. Malcolm was voted out the very next episode when he could have kept the idol and saved himself and possibly found a 3rd idol. Drew throwing the challenge in SJDS to get rid of Wentworth. He got himself voted out.

Fishbach definitely blew it by not using both of his votes for Joe. I feel like that could’ve changed the game. I also feel that not getting rid of Jeremy (on Second chances) and Cochran (in Fans v Faves 2.0) was a mistake because they were social threats

@@longfellowthefirst5065 fan favourite or not - he was voted in by the fans for a *second chance*. like me personally, i really dislike ciera and cant imagine anyone really rooting for abi maria as a "fan favourite", but thankfully they werent voted to play again for a "fans vs favourites" season, but rather as a "second chance"; whether you like them or not, if they fans think they deserve a "second chance", the votes will show

Thanks for reminding me why Savage Sarah is one of my favorite winners ever. Sure, she received the majority of the votes at final six, but what were the odds of her NOT using the Legacy advantage? What they should have done is let at least two people be vulnerable. If they were Troyzan and, of course, Cirie, Troyzan would probably be voted out.

I agree with you on Denise. Before the game started her only plan was to get rid of Sandra. Sandra was not that big of a threat. Tony obviously would have been the best option. Especially knowing Sandra doesn't win immunities and can go any time

If cirie tried to steal tais vote instead of Sarah's it would've probably never been called out, and cirie would get tai and tai out and out of michaela aubry and her michaela wouldve probably gone at f6 and cirie wouldve been in the f5, vlting out tai was the right idea but she shouldnt have stole sarahs vote

I think that Drea's had more of a domino effect, because it resulted in Omar getting booted next after she outed that she'd only told him about her advantage.
